Stayed here for one night. Good sized rooms, bright and simple and a good price. About 50 metres walk in the morning to get a bus to the airport. Could do with a hot water jug in the room though. I'd definitely stay here again. Its not fancy, but for the price range they've done a great job

Found the Hotel to be about 150 metres from the main station entrance which is handy for arrivals and departures and has a metro nearby too , Hotel on a corner point opposite the Station . Nice reception area and staff very efficient room(307) immaculate and the tiling in the Toilet positively sparkled so a well done to the cleaning... More

I stayed in this hotel for a night. This place was recommended by the staffs at the railway station. Looks like this is the place where their staffs normally check in. The rooms are clean and neat. The best part is it is very very near to the railway station and there are few food outlets near by. A perfect... More

— 2 people, 1 night — Milan was the second overnight stop on our 1,500-mile train journey (Reading UK → Sorrento Italy) so we wanted somewhere close to the station. And location is about the only thing going for this hotel. I suppose the modest price should have been a clue… Although the bed was moderately comfortable, and the room... More

Spent a night here. Very handy to train station and underground. The rooms are a good size for Europe hotel standards. Some English TV channels. Rooms very clean, comfy beds. No coffee making facilities in room but there is a small mini bar. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was ok, not to extensive but the service in the dinning... More

I spent more than a week in this hotel, and really enjoyed my stay. My room, on the top floor, was large, bright and comfortable. It was quiet and the air conditioning worked well. Two minutes walk from the train station and from the bus to Malpensa, this is a good hotel for those travelling on. The hotel is a... More

Located round the corner from the hulking train station, the Albert is a good option if you want handiness for buses to Milan's two airports. It's close to the metro too so is very well located although there is a slight whiff of seediness about the whole station area. From the sites, the metro is the best option as the... More

My train from Switzerland to Milan was cancelled and while I managed to get to Milan I missed my connecting train to Rome. The Italien train service was quite helpful. There were no other trains to Rome on that day, so they provided me a free hotel room in the Albert Hotel. The Hotel is located just accross the street... More

This is my third visit at this hotel, and i am looking forward to my fourth. It is easy to find, especially as it's next to the train station. At night, the rooms are quiet, even with windows open. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and the price is more than reasonable for a room in a city like Milano.

Dear Madam, thank you for your report. The room rate was higher then usually because of Furniture Fair, one of the most important of the world, but I think you noticed that we had lower prices than other Hotels nearby! Best regards The Hotel manager More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
