Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

We only had one night in Milan, before an early morning train departure. The location can't be beat for that, as it's literally across the street from the station entrance. Took all of 5 minutes from our hotel room door to the platforms. Several restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before our room was ready and the luggage storage room was easy to access. We booked a triple room (3 twin beds), which was clean, but a bit small. For one night, however, it was perfect. I will say that the beds were very firm, but other than that, no complaints.

Actually this hotel location is very good, if you just stop over at Milan as it is very close to airport. And the room is ok too. But we were quite disappointed because they didnt let us to stay in the room with additional 1 little child, which actually in the policy the child is free if stay in the same bed. We said we can just merge the single bed and the little kid can sleep with us. But they didnt allow and asked us to book another room, which cost us more and they didnt let us change the triple room booking into 2 standard room either! So we have 2 rooms, with too many beds and a waste of money! They should be more considerate to guests with family. The breakfast was actually very generous and good with a nice view.

It’s our first time in Milan and we have only 2 days. We needed to be at central point where we could easily get to the train for an early morning departure to Venice. 1) Location. It’s perfect for us. It’s just right next to the Main Central Terminal, just a few steps away,(not hundreds of feet away nor a block away). There’s of course the metro nearby as well as the Hop on Hop off stop very close to the hotel. Numerous restaurants, snack kiosks and shops. 2) Delicious breakfast with hot and cold items, pasties, fruits etc; coffee is excellent when taken from the kitchen, not from the machine. Love the beautiful view from the top. 3) Room size - spacious, and has a stocked ref. Good bathroom size, & has numerous drawers, and shelves if you have more than 1 luggage to unpack 4) Most importantly: Staff - very friendly and helpful

Location just next to rail Central Station. Clean rooms. Good connection with city center by underground. Very helpfull and nice staff. Baggage storage available. Tickets for local transportation at reception. Drinks available in lobby from self service frigde at low prices. Breakfast OK. Breakfasst room on the top floor, with perfect view! Disadvantage: around a lot of immigrants around Centrale FS. Fortunately under police control. But so is in Milano everywhere. Climate control ineffective in the summer.
