The Hotel Sanpi Milano is a modern 4 stars boutique hotel member of the international chain Worldhotels. The hotel is made up of three buildings built at the end of the 19th century, and it has recently been renovated in accordance with a catchy design. The common spaces are inspired by a refined artistic taste thanks to the paintings of contemporary artists. The Hotel is located in the city center, exactly between Piazza Repubblica and Porta Venezia Corso Buenos Aires: the railway link stops in both and it connects with the nearby cities. The Duomo (Cathedral) and la Scala (Opera House) of Milano are reachable on foot. In fact in 10 minutes you will be there and in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and Montenapoleone street. The hotel is located in Via Lazzaro Palazzi that is a side street of Corso Buenos Aires, the longest shopping street in Europe. In addition the Sanpi is 200 meters far from the main subway lines (red line MM1 Porta Venezia which arrives directly to the exhibition center; yellow line MM3 Repubblica; green line MM2 Centrale). In 5 minutes on foot you can arrive to the Central Station (Air Terminal) and in the surroundings you can find as well the Garibaldi Station (High speed train terminal). The room experience offered from the Sanpi is just unique: 79 rooms one different from each other with atmospheres that range from the modern style interiors conceived by a famous architect studio, to the classic style of vintage furniture. Different rooms are provided with balcony that overlooks the beautiful internal garden, at shelter from the city noise. All the rooms are soundproof and equipped with air conditioning, parquet floor, free satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and in the Suite and Deluxe type there is the hydro-massage bathtub.Within the hotel the guests have access to the modern fitness room Technogym wellness, to the lovely bar on the interior garden where they can be lulled by the silence: the ideal place to taste a cocktail and relax at the same time. In the light restaurant a selection of the best Italian tradition is served together with vintage wines. The small villa, which was once a crossing keeper box, represents now an exclusive house in our private garden. The Business corner is equipped with a PC with internet connection, a printer, fax and a photocopier and it is always at the guests' disposal. The Venice meeting room of 85 sqm can host corporate meeting thanks to the natural light and to all the necessary technical devices such as stereo surround, tv projector, board with changeable sheets. The Hotel Sanpi Milano is member of the international hotel chain Worldhotels and it is identified by the code WW in the GDS systems. The reservations can be done directly or using GDS or internet or mail.thank you for your attention and time.

Staff are absolutely fantastic; friendly, efficient and accommodating! A special thanks to staff covering breakfast and the gentleman covering the restaurant on the evening of the 25th (I didn't get his name but he was very helpful given my lack of Italian).
I had a single room overlooking the courtyard. No balcony but wide windows that provided lots of light and a view of the garden courtyard below. Covid measures are in place with temperature checks on arrival and on entry to the hotel restaurant, plastic sleeves on phone receiver and remote as well as strategically placed hand sanitiser for general use.
The location is about a minute walk to the nearest metro on the main road with easy access to sights in central Milan (about 5-10mins on the M1 to Duomo) and connection to stations for trains to Malpensa airport or Lake Como for a day trip. There are also a variety of restaurants nearby in addition to the hotel's own. (Sushi place next door if you're a fan). Though many were quiet or closed due to Covid, it was still possible to order for delivery.
I had dinner in the hotel restaurant on my last night and can confidently recommend the tagliatelle.
Overall, a very comfortable stay especially for my first visit to Milan and to Italy.

We stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed the proximity to everything Milan offers. The bathroom is redone and amazing! It seems they have yet to do the main room to match the exceptional bathroom, but it’s still nice. The bed is pretty comfortable, but not great as it has this odd part near the headboard where a cushion sits. The towels were super comfy. The best part to me was the staff. They were all just friendly and helpful. The hotel takes great caution for Covid, wrapping the key, remote control, phones, etc in plastic. The breakfast is great and really with tons of choices. They were also pet friendly with no additional charges. I would recommend getting a garden view room even though the balcony was nice, because the room will be much quieter.

City centre, close the the centre of everything, a stones throw away from the closest Metro and both clean and with great staff, you truly couldn’t ask for a better located hotel for the price we paid for this one.

I searched for ages for hotels and couldn’t be happier with the choice. We arrived early, yet were still able to check in. Within minutes someone was at our door to ensure everything was okay, to refill the fridge with water and to deliver a box of chocolates. That member of staff would be the same to look after us at breakfast and he was brilliant, as were the options. A massive spread. The receptionists were great.

The room keys come in massive heavy metal key rings, so we opted to leave our key at reception every time we went out - something it seemed the majority of people did.

Can not fault the hotel, cleaned daily, everything replenished and we never had to ask for anything, they were always one step ahead... great stay and well recommended for your Milan stay.

A lovely hotel, staff friendly. Would stay there again it was minutes walking into the town and close to the train station and metros .The only negative was because of the restrictions of Covid you couldn’t help yourself to breakfast; it was queues and the lady was rushed off her feet. The other member of staff was doing the drinks and clearing tables. There should of been a number service and each table was called individually so you could pick out your food as to not have people breathing down your necks. The hotel was very clean and hand sanitizers everywhere. Would recommend.

My husband and I have just returned from a long weekend in Milan. Having never been to Milan before I researched many hotels, Sanpi was my original choice just from photos and reviews although did sway once or twice before booking but I am so glad I went with my instinct! This hotel is fabulous! A straightfoward 15 minute walk from Central Station brings you to Hotel Sanpi. From the moment I set eyes on the exterior, walked into reception through lobby area and into the little oasis of a garden, I knew I had made the right choice. Room was spotlessly clean, with everything you would need. Breakfast had plenty of choice, with a good timeframe of service between 6.45am to 11am. Staff friendly, with nothing being too much trouble. Lobby, bar, restaurant and garden beautifully decorated and furnished, makes pleasant environment for sitting relaxing after a busy day exploring. I have read some reviews suggesting the neighbourhood appears unsafe, I never got this impression, would only add it is quieter than being in hustle and bustle of central Milan. It is a vibrant area with lots of bistros, restaurants and bars. Some reviews have also stated it is noisy at night time, I did hear the trams but sounded nothing more than a gust of wind periodically. Beds and pillows so comfortable that once I was asleep nothing disturbed me til morning. 15 minute walk into centre of Milan made all the more pleasant via a walk through the park opposite the hotel. If I returned to Milan I wouldn't hesitate to book Hotel Sanpi again.

Nice hotel, very clean, rooms a reasonable size and very clean. Staff were very polite & friendly.
Bar prices compare wel with bars.
Buffet breakfast is a bit hit & miss, plenty of choise but when it's busy it seems to take a long time for things to be replenished.
We had a room at front of hotel on the 2nd floor and were woken one morning at 5am by the bin men in the street.

Really loved my 3 night stay at this hotel. It was about a 20 minute walk from Milan Central station, but there is also an option to use the Metro, as there is a metro station 6 minute walk away from the hotel.
The reception staff were always very friendly, and there was always someone who spoke English at the front desk, which was really impressive and helpful. My room was small, but had everything I needed, including a safe and a fridge, which was great. The bed was comfy, and I had no complaints. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of choice and everything that I had was very good.
There are plenty of restaurants all very closely situated to the hotel and the high street is also just a 5 minute walk away. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a decently priced hotel in Milan.

Visited Milan alone in May and looked for an affordable hotel. Got a single room that was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a pristine bathroom - can't ask for more than that. The hotel staff was lovely and helpful. The location is good, perfect if you're into shopping as it's very close to all the stores, less ideal for other parts of Milan but everything is reachable with transportation and/or a bit of walking around. Personally as a solo traveler it was important for me to feel safe getting back late at night and it definitely was. Only minor setback is that you can hear the other rooms' toilet flushing from time to time - didn't really bother me to be honest. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place for their trip.

A very cute hotel in a decent location. Lots of restaurants and bars around, supermarket 3 minutes walk & around 20 min walk to Duomo. The room was a good size, clean & comfortable. Lovely big bathroom. We had some problems with our room as the key card system failed, was fixed then failed again so ended up having to carry clunky key. It also affected our air con which was constantly beeping. Maybe should have made more fuss - staff were helpful when we needed letting into room but when I reported the air con was told 'tiny problem'. Breakfast was difficult in circumstances - staff were doing their best to serve buffet to everyone but it was a little awkward. Selection was very good although the mini hot dog sausages was strange - is that a Milan thing? Coffee was great but would've like tea/coffee facilities in the room.

I booked this hotel for my wife’s birthday trip to Milan. Due to my wife’s birthday, the hotel staff upgraded us to a Superior room, however the room did not look or feel superior at all. The hotel room was outdated and did not look like the pictures on the website at all. The lights in the room were uncomfortably bright and the room was real stuffy at times to the point we had to keep opening the window. The bathroom shower had mold in the corners and the shower head had mold on it. The site also stated the rooms were sound proofed, however we could hear everything outside from cars to people shouting on the street. We were charged for tea in the room and waters that we did not drink from the “minibar”. There was no mention or even a notice stating what we would be charged for in the room from the “minibar” until we got the bill during checkout showing 10 charges of $5.00 each for the water, which we only drank 4 of those waters. On the bright side, the staff were very nice and the location of the hotel was convenient to the subway/train station, stores and restaurants. However, with the other hotels in the area, we would choose those over Hotel Sanpi for any future visits. Disappointing to say the least.

It is safe to walk around. The footpath surface is typical Italian bumps and lumps but we had no trouble with our wheels on our luggage.

We stayed at the end of May - 5 euros each per night. Hotel is wonderful an oasis in a busy city. Milan is expensive but if you get an all day tram ticket you can get to some pretty outskirts where prices for coffee juices etc are more reasonable Possibly an unwanted tip but wish we had thought of it earlier in our trip!!!
