I have been staying at this hotel/apt for many years now. It's amazing that you can have a kitchen to cook at while in the center of Milan for this price. You also have an incredible space with a bedroom and a living room so you can entertain or work. The manager Ivana is absolutely incredible and the rest of... More

Location is perfect! I think the rate is reasonable if you want to stay in this location. The room overall is good. However, the bathroom is super tiny and the shower area is very small. If you have young kids, it's really difficult to take showers for them. Sofa in the living room is uncomfortable. Sitting on kitchen chair is... More

I would not hesitate recommending this hotel when staying in Milan. I found the reception staff to be very friendly and were helpful with babysitting services, recommending restaurants and suggesting places to visit. The rooms are very modern although since we had 2 pull out beds in the living room it was very cramped. I imagine without the extra beds... More

Before booking with San Pietro, I exchanged emails with the concierge 3 times with several questions. Happy to say that each question was answered promptly (replies within less than 24 hours, considering we have a 6 hour time difference). I booked the Fashion Suite for two persons. The online rate was Euro 292/night, no added fees were paid when we... More

I struggled with rating this property. I give it 5 stars for location but 3/3.5 for service. I booked and confirmed an Amex rate at this property back in May 2015. I arrived on September 25th and was told that I wasn't expected, confirmation never received etc, etc. Luckily there was one suite available - I kept telling the Front... More

We booked 3 nights at a non-refundable rate of what I thought was around $250/night for what was advertised as a quad room. Every screen said $250/night until the end, where I stupidly did not check the total before clicking okay. Minutes later I got the confirmation email which gave me the total of around 1,400 euros, nearly doubling the... More

Despite the fancy furnishings and the excellent location, I had a lingering feeling of dissatisfaction at this place. The best part about this property was its location - within stone's throw of the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The keen shoppers can shop, drop off the bags and go back to shopping if they wish to. Unfortunately the Armani furnishings... More

San Pietro all'Orto is a first class quality establishment which could not be better located for visitors to Milano. Further the units have designer furnishings, are very spacious and well equipped which adds to the enjoyment of the time spent in your selected unit. We parked our car for the four nights we were in Milano in the council car... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
