There was no hot water in the bathroom on the last morning prior to a very early checkout. The reception wasted time sending someone (after 15 minutes) just to verify whether our complaint was correct. In any case, they were unable to get the hot water running and finally offered the use of another bathroom 6 floors below ours. This...

Fantastic 4 star hotel, friendly attentive staff, buffet breakfast that covers all tastes, fruit, cereal, cheese and meats, hot options too, cake, croissant of all different flavours. Rooms very clean and generous size, very central 5 minute walk from Duomo, and all the shops. Hotel recently undergone internal decoration. Would recommend to all for a very comfortable, pleasant stay in...

Stayed at the end of October for a long weekend with friends - fabulous, modern hotel in a great central location. The staff were very friendly and efficient, great breakfast included with our room deal. We did not arrive until 10.45 pm and the restaurant staff stayed open for us even though they were due to close at 11pm. The...

The hotel is very nice and well located just a few minutes from the Piazza del Duomo. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is excellent with vast choice. The location of some rooms is however very near the tramway rails, which means it is very noisy also late at night and in the early morning.

Spent three nights here with my daughter. Hotel staff very good. The breakfast was amazing, the choice of food was fantastic and even prosecco with breakfast was available on the buffet table at no extra cost. Room was very clean, but may be a little small, especially the bathroom. However, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.

It`s a nice hotel in the heart of the city. It`s just 4-5 Min to Duomo, next to the steet there is a small bio shop. The breakfast was good, they served champagne for a breakfast and it was quite cool because me and my family celebrated the birthday. Also the view was very nice from the terrace. The room`s...

Milan was our first port of call on our Italian vacation, and Hotel Dei Cavalieri was well located to start exploring this beautiful city. It's a quick 5-8min walk to the Duomo. Check in was efficient. We had a room on the second floor. I prefer two double beds to a double bed and a sofa bed - so the...

This hotel is very good and is in a position that is both very close to the city centre and reasonably quiet. It is located only 500 meters from the Duomo and is within walking distance of most other attractions in this city. The metro station is adjacent. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are fairly good, perhaps...

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
