The hotel is ok, good location and the breakfast is decent, but we had the sheets with hairs and they did not change them so we had to sleep on top of them. However what saves this hotel is the man that help you with everything! he is amazing

I booked this central hotel for 2 night stay in Milan. As Milan is currently hosting Expo hotel prices have gone thru the roof so Hotel Giulio Cesare seemed a good choice. The hotel is very centrally located 10 min walk to Duomo and 5 mins to the Castello. Located in a quiet side street - you are assured of... More

This hotel had average rooms (small but adequate) but was located in the heart of historic Milan. The price was excellent for the location. I would stay again. It is located near Castello Sforzesco on a quiet side street. Considering the busy city center, we had no problems with noise.

I was in Milan on business and decided to stay the weekend on my own money, so I changed hotels to the Giulio for 2 nights. I wanted somewhere cheap so this was perfect and the location is amazing just off the Via Dante. My single room was tiny but adequate, it was clean, yes there were some mould stains... More

Hotel was located on a quiet side street near the center of Milan. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Duomo and less from the Cadorna train station. However, the hotel is not a three star hotel. The hotel is dreary, dark, and is need of repair. The elevator is ancient and very small. The rooms were tiny and... More

It was the worsted experience that I had in life!!!! The room was so small, old, and the shower it's a joke (low pressure, so small). Personal (a woman) should do an other job. I trashed my money!!! Please don't go there!!! It should be closed from years!!!!

This is billed as a three-star hotel, but I think that whoever gave this rating cannot have been near a three-star in Western Europe in the last 50 years. Let's start with the first issue: something bit me. I have a rash. I suspect bedbugs. I took the normal precautions of putting my suitcase away from the bed and I... More

We've spent 6 nights in the hotel. Very central location, only few steps from Cadorna Railway Station. You can use the train from airport Malpensa to reach Cadorna and then about 5 min on foot to the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived at night, they waited for us, our room was ready. Rooms are small but... More

Very dirty. Mould on bathroom walls, dust everywhere. The only plug in the room wasn't working. Hotel in desperate need of renovation. Even if location is very convenient it's not worth the money they charge.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
