I book my mother and I a trip to Milan for a long weekend and from the moment we arrived everything was perfection. The warm welcome received from every member of staff we met during our stay. Our beautiful room with a balcony (on some nights rehearsals of an operatics group can be heard! Stunning! What an added bonus!) The... More

Hotel was really nice for 3 star hotel in Italy. Hotel is small, so it was cozy. We've reached it on foot from the central station. We had breakfast outside in the terrace. Breakfast meniu is small but it was enough for us. Room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Some problem with English in reception. Wi-fi worked perfectly.

In the room you can hear all the noises outside of the room, only one outlet available in the room so that you can only charge one gadget at a time, hard to open the door of bathroom, shower booth is too too small though I am size 2, the first person I met at the reception was rude, breakfast... Dear Guest, Here is a summary of the facts: 1. You wanted to bring in the single room you booked a friend to take a shower and rest. Paying a single room this service is not 'possible. 2. you also asked our staff to be able to always carry in his single room a woman. For the same reasons the... More

Very convenient location, just a few blocks from Milan Centrale. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful during the checkin\checkout process. Our room was on the second floor, very clean and quiet and had an enormous bathroom. Decent selection for breakfast, good coffee. Two minor complaints, t.v. was small and remote didn't work. Poor A.C. didn't cool the... More

The staff there is horrible. they do what they want and the service is slow and rude. I had a few words with one member of the staff, because he didn't let me have a visitor at evening... later I went out and came back at around 2 a.m. the same staff member didn't let me in for about an... More

A very cute little hotel with a little garden, with nice staff and clean room. Breakfast is good - for once there are enough of sweet choices! :-) The location is perfect as all metro lines are at walking distance; Centrale one direction, Lima to the other (excellent for EXPO2015 goers), and even Duomo is at walking distance.

Very nice clean, hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. An affordable hotel, especially close to the Milano Centrale train station. There are some good cafes and restaurants nearby. A very good and practical choice for travellers who want a comfortable and simple place close to the train station.

If I were paying $100/night, not $175/night I would have nothing to complain about. Clean is the only thing this hotel has to offer. Otherwise it is overpriced beyond words. The rooms are old and ugly, you get absolutely no wifi signal in the room to send emails home, call family, or research things for your next day. The breakfast... More

So all the problems boil down to the price you paid? If you had paid $ 100 it would be all beautiful? Let me say that your statements are really ridiculous! If the price seemed too high why you have not booked a hotel more suitable for your pockets? Breakfast was mediocre? And so why you ate as if it... More

Simple but lovely. Beautiful garden patio with the most fragrant flowers. Nice breakfast and clean rooms. Very helpful staff and the Lima metro stop is only a few blocks away! I truly enjoyed my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
