Best hotel in town, with staff that make you feel welcome the moment you step foot into the luxuriously lobby, surrounded by a lovely scent that can be smelled everywhere in the building. Rooms are luxurious and very well maintained, the breakfast and in general the food quality is absolutely ridiculous, probably the best I’ve experienced so far. Staff is always smiley (although sadly behind a mask) and from their eyes you can tell the genuineness. Hands down the best hotel in town. Well done everyone, we’ll be back.

Best hotel in town. Welcoming staff, luxurious rooms and fantastic breakfast, best I’ve experienced so far in my travels. Food quality is absolutely unbelievable. The scent you can smell everywhere in the building is very pleasant. The staff is always ready to assist you with a smile (although sadly hidden behind a mask) but one can tell the genuineness. We felt looked after, from arrival to departure. Big shout out to the team of this hotel! Well done!

This is an incredible hotel located next to the train station. If you are trying to visit Como or anywhere else, you cannot pick a better location. The hotel is also a 5 min metro ride to the duomo area. There are so many other things we visited that weren’t right in that area. The staff is lovely and the concierge are so helpful. I don’t know why people are saying it is dirty—it isn’t at all. It was spotless. The terrace bar is beautiful. So happy I stayed at this beautiful hotel. Can’t wait to return.

Dirty rooms, rude staff, horrible location. We chose this hotel thinking it was a luxury 5 hotel, however we should have listened to the other recent reviews! This is NOT a 5 star property, more like a 3 star. The staff is rude especially Alice. She sounds like she's annoyed with her job when she picks up the phone when I dialed for Guest Services. Alice shouldn't work in a hotel if she doesn't know how to be hospitable. Alice was very stingy with the amenities when we ordered for toiletries for the room, she had an attitude saying “you need that again?!” And Alice made sure we didn’t receive the items… Very abrasive staff! The room is dirty and dusty. The don't wipe the phones, cabinets, tables, there's so much dust all over (see pictures). The curtain had black spots. Carpet was dirty. The pillow cases were ripped, imagine seeing this when you check in to the room (even 3 star hotels wouldn’t have presented such a display for their guests). The shower was always clogged, your ankles are ankle deep in water when you're showering (gross!). The shower knob was also broken, it didn't turn towards cold water so only hot water came out and had to be fixed by maintenance but the next day the same problem reoccurred. We asked for feather pillows, they gave foam pillows… The location is terrible, far from the main city center. To get anywhere you have to either taxi or take metro, it's very inconvenient if you want to rest mid day and go back to the hotel before heading out again! You are better off spending your money elsewhere!!

Dear ‘fanderson775’ Thank you for taking time to share with us your review. We always take comments that we receive from our Guests very seriously hence it is very saddening for us to read that we did not manage to meet your expectations and that you remained so disappointed about your recent experience at our hotel. Our aim is to create throughout the hotel a warm atmosphere that would make our Guests feel comfortable and aware that they can fully rely on our staff with anything they may need while staying with us. We are therefore deeply concerned about your comments and we would like to assure you that all of the issues that you have listed in your review, including the level of cleanliness of your room, have been taken into highest consideration and followed up internally with the team. Thank you once again for having brought these matters to our attention, we appreciate your open feedback, and while we truly wish you had a better experience, we do hope that in the future you might give us another opportunity to welcome you back to our hotel. We would do our utmost to go above and beyond in order to leave you with a long lasting impression for the right reasons. Kind regards, Marco Olivieri General Manager

Classy hotel - spacious and luxurious rooms, convenient location opposite Centrale station, room had a balcony with a beautiful view over Centrale station. We really enjoyed the room! Felt more suited for business travelers or couples rather than families with kids due to the vibe of the hotel. Didn’t see any other children, hotel staff didn’t really go out of their way to welcome our child (vs all other hotels on our trip went out of their way). In house restaurant was overpriced, breakfast was not included and was quite expensive so we ended up eating out. Overall was a comfortable stay, but was not the best hotel we stayed on during our Italy trip.
