The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

We stayed here for two days. Great location, it is 800 m walk to the cathedral. Lots of shops and food places all within walking. The breakfast is not that impressive but they have coffee and that’s all it takes to make me happy. Would recommend.

The hotel room and bathroom are outdated, the room lighting is not sufficient, the only thing that is good in this hotel is the proximity to the Duomo Cathedral. it's just a few blocks away. We booked an overnight stay in Hotel Ascot ( 3 adults and a 2-year-old), child, a misunderstanding from the people from the breakfast led to overcharging my credit card with 20 euros, I sent them an email complaining and they apologized for the inconvenience and said they will refund me the money within Monday next week, but it's been over a month now, no update whatsoever, they are not replying to my email asking for the status of my request of refund, I will not recommend this hotel, I suggest just look for a better hotel near Duomo.

Very overpriced considering the quality of furniture/environment and services. Staff is not the nicest and as it was a busy weekend their goal was to get rid of us in the least time possible. Rooms are very small, we almost could not move in 2 people, our room faced the streets and was noisy. Breakfast is ok, not great, but the overall ambience and staff attention was depressing. Only plus is the location. There are much better options in the area for the same prices, will not come back.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Milan. I read some reviews that said it was good and some that said it was not. I stil took a chance. Milan was supposed to be a nice tourist, shopping and relaxing place but this hotel ruined our stay. Firstly, the room wasn’t the best for a four star but okay. Then at night it got extremely humid and hot. The AC wasn’t working. When I rang reception a few times they said that they couldn’t do anything as it wasn’t ‘the season for AC’ that is absurd for a hotel claiming to 4*! Ridiculous! This was the main reason we couldn’t sleep for two nights and in return couldn’t get much done in milan. If this wasn’t bad enough on our first night at around 1am two prostitute escorts knocked on our door disturbing me and my wife and I told them they had the wrong room. They were adamant they had the right room. I finally had to close the door on them and call reception. The receptionist still didn’t come until we could hear them in the corridor and so we called another couple of times. Then when the receptionist came up he was speaking to them like he knew them and from the little Italian we understood he told them that they had the wrong room. That was absolutely awful! We were gonna check out there and then! The only problem was we had to much luggage to take to another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel at all! I don’t recommend that anyone stay here especially with family! It was a awful, horrible experience! Nothing has been done about it no comment from a manager or owner! Worst experience!
