Michelangelo Hotel is located next to Milan's Central Train Station. The trains connect to the airport, and this makes it a perfect location for travelers. The immediate neighborhood is not spectacular (although the station is), but it allows you to move to where important landmarks are. The hotel itself is a solid "four star"; nothing exceptional but no disappointment either....

Stayed for 4nights in a row and came back again for a couple of nights. Location was perfect as it is less than 5mins walk to Milano Centrale Station where you could connect via train to most of Italy and Switzerland. For Muslims, halal food is just walking distance around the area. Try the Centrale Turkish Restaurant next to the...

Stayed there for one night in November 2016, and found it to be a very busy but pleasant hotel. It's opposite the train station which makes it great as a central point and there are lots of bars and cafe's close by, I really liked it

Hotel facilities are just fine, but. I arrived with a booking made by a colleague and was not aware breakfast was not included. At check in, nobody informed me breakfast was 15 euro. I was simply told:"thank you sir, breakfast is avalilabke between 6.30 and 10.30, have a nice stay". Nobody mentioned anything about paying. The next day I went...

Services at Lobby: average Room: acceptable Price: reasonable Location: near the station with lots of restaurants nearby Tips: Don't bother to ride on the subway, lots of pickpockets and I had my wallet stolen/robbed by a professional team and ended up spending six hours in a designated police station (only one officer could speak English and the queue was up...

Hotel has a good location, very attentive and friendly front desk personnel and rooms are good size. And breakfast was also nice... not very rich with selection, but all what you need was there... One more good point - you can open window in the room!!! Just some remarks, this is not new hotel, but still very well maintained. Rooms...

This is the kind of hotel I usually avoid...huge and ultra modern, but we picked it because it was a short walking distance to Milano Centrale Railroad Station. However it was a very pleasant surprise. We were greeted as if we were very important. Checked in quickly. The rooms were very large and comfortable with a huge window overlooking the...

We chose this hotel because of its location to the train station. We were only spending two nights in Milan and were getting in late the first night. The neighborhood around the train station is not great but that is not unusual, train station neighborhoods tend to be a bit rough. The staff was friendly and the rooms were fine...

New, clean, tidy, and comfortable. Good location, just a few minutes to the Central Station. Breakfast was also very good...lots of choices and first time in hotel with juice machine that you can make fresh orange juicy yourself. So regret that i just had one nite there. If i go to Milan again, i definitely will stay there.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
