This hotel was a wonderful find in Milan. Close to the train station in a neighborhood with many good restaurants, the Hotel Berna provides a welcoming and comforting place to stay. With a fabulous breakfast buffet and great Happy Hour spread there is plenty to eat. The happy hour drinks are good as well. The rooms are comfortable and quiet...

Booked into Hotel Berna for three nights whilst travelling around northern Italy. Hotel Berna impressed me before I had even left home as they asked me to choose my pillows (fairly common), my bedding type (less usual), the soft drinks in my free minibar (unusual) and even my toilet paper (yep, that surprised me). Clearly they wanted to ensure the...

We enjoyed our three night stay in this boutique style hotel which offered small, but clean rooms, amazing service and a breakfast to die for! (Dietary needs catered for.) Convenient location for arrival to and departure from Central Station.

I stayed at Hotel Berna in Milan for two nights. The room was small but comfortable and well-equipped. The bathroom was a bit cramped. The shower leaves little room for maneuver. The staff was great. They answered all my questions and gave me all the help I could want. Housekeeping was professional. Breakfast was extraordinary. There was a fabulous spread,...

Second stop in Berna. This time as a single traveller in the annex building. Previously in a triple room with family in main building. This hotel really tries to have everything 'just so', with great small touches like the free minibar, tea/coffee facilities free bath duck, anti-bedbug mattress covers etc. Good stay again on comfortable bed with great breakfast. Location...

We stayed one night at this hotel in April 2017. We were surprised by the service this hotel provided. The day after we booked the hotel, we received a welcome letter from the hotel itself and at same email, it provided us the opportunity to customize our stay. Like what kind of temperature do we like when we arrived at...

Max the Happy Hour host was charming, humorous, knowledgeable and helpful. Hi Max. In fact all the staff we came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. I booked this hotel without any expectation since it's our short layover in Milan. The location is very convenient and close to the Milan central station. After I booked, they sent me the link to customize our bedding, toilet items, and the free soft drink to put in the refrig. We had 2 rooms and both room are nice, clean,...

Stayed here one night before a train journey the next morning, and after a trans-Atlantic flight. Located close to the station Centrale with a handful of restaurants in direct proximity. Staff is very professional and kind. The "confort" rooms are well-appointed, the gratuit beverages in the mini-fridge are a nice touch. There is a bit of noise that can filter...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
