The high ratings of this hotel are deceptive and the hotel wifi blocks your access to TripAdvisor, which is very suspicious ! Unhelpful and negligent staff at reception, the so-called "superior room" was extremely small. We came back once at midnight and we had to ring the bell in order to get in, the staff only came and opened the door after 5 minutes of waiting. Breakfast is definitely not worth a try. The only positive side was the cleanliness and the room cleaning service, which was impeccable. We regretted profoundly our 3 nights stay in this so called 4 stars hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in November 2019. The location is great - within several blocks of Milano Central Train Station and one of the subway stops. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance. The continental breakfast which was included in the price was absolutely amazing. There was a great selection of choices that would satisfy even the pickiest eater. Last but certainly not least, room was in great condition. Everything seemed clean and very tidy. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Not only is this a wonderfull small hotel with a friendly staff, that in my case made sure I did not accidentally leave without the passport which I had forgotten in my room, it's also an ideal location of Milano. I used it to stay at for Formula 1 but I am sure it would be a nice hotel for any type of vacation

Great location, we walked to and from the train station. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of selections. The room was comfortable. I liked the the little panettone left in the room as a gift. Highly recommended hotel.

My husband had a trade show to attend in Rho Fiera Milano in February. My son and I traveled with him. Needing a place close to Milan Central, Hotel Berna was the right choice. Very accommodating, clean, and great staff was just the beginning. Since our son was traveling with us, our room was a little tight, but we were able to remedy that by visiting the lounge area near the front desk. There, we could have coffee, cookies, and check business e-mail fairly uninterrupted. At night, we went to the bar area, and enjoyed aperitivo with a drink. The bartender made me the best Gin Fizz I ever tasted. The whole city was bustling because it was Fashion Week. The breakfast Buffett was wonderful, and anything we needed was brought to us with a Buongiorno and a smile. We have business associates in Italy, and are truly saddened by what this invisible monster has done to them. When the time comes, and we all find our new normal, we will go back to our favorite country in Europe, and the place we love so much.
