The hotel is located only a short walk from the Piazza del duomo on the one side and the Navigli district in the opposite direction, the Cadorna station where the trains from Malpensa airport arrive ist also in walking distance (15'). The hotel itself has a nice old fashioned touch to it as well in the lobby as in the... More

This is a lovely small boutique hotel where we had a sweet room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Just had one night here as our flight was cancelled, eliminating one of our two nights in Milan, but I was so appreciative of the helpful staff, delicious breakfast and coffee in the morning and the wonderful sleep I had there that... The location couldn't be better. Via Cesare Correnti is a busy street that goes all the way to the Duomo, a 15-minute walk when you turn right when exiting the hotel. You can also take the tram in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is nice and will not break your budget.

I booked a weekend away in Milan as a surprise for my Mum and we were both delighted with our stay at the Hotel Regina. Reception staff on arrival were very welcoming and our room/bathroom both beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of food to choose from and a big thank you to Maria for being... More

A lot of carpets, brass and narrow staircases. All this describes most of privately owned hotels in Milan. However liked it very much. My tiny room was cosy, bathroom was as big as the room - funny! Breakfast was delicious. Bed was a bit narrow and too hard, but still cannot complain. Reception was friendly, advised us a good family... More

Old and dilapidated, with poorly appointed rooms, minimalist service and a low quality breakfast, this place barely qualifies as a two-star establishment. Location near the city center is a slight plus.

I am torn about this review. I have stayed here 3 or 4 times over the last 10 years and will not be back. The positives. I love the location half way between the Duomo and Navigli. The rooms are immaculate, dated but fine and the bathroom we had was fantastic. The lady we booked with Carla who worked the... More

This hotel has everything you need for a very comfortable stay including friendly and professional staff and a tram stop right outside. We had a room overlooking the street but with double glazed windows noise was a non issue. The breakfast is great and includes different fresh fruit every day.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
