Th price does not represent the quality. Clean and tidy hotel, but the staff service was quite poor and difficult to communicate with.

not a typical Italian hotel but mmore like the chain hotels around the world. The hotel was under renovation when we stayed there so only one restaurant was open. we ate across the road in the chinese. good food. Rooms were spacious and clean but lacked a little warmth. Dark walls and lined made the room appear drab.

The hotel location is convenient, close to 2 metro stations and within walking distance from the Duomo and the central station. The rooms were comfortable (clean, large and a big bathroom). Apart from 2 receptionists (Lorenzo and 1 lady who were both very kind), all the other staff at the reception we encountered were incredibly grumpy and not knowledgeable at...

This hotel provides excellent service. Rooms are spotless and spacious, with doubles having 2 baths. Breakfast was truly an excellent buffet. Great location, not far from all of the sights and the train service.

This hotel is located at 1.0km from central station and another 1.5 - 2km from Duomo. So basically, this hotel is in the middle from everything. The hotel itself is quite big with 4 floors. The rooms vary from standard to luxury, depending on your budget. There is a restaurant with a menu that has something for everyone. Prices vary...

Stayed here for one night in August 2011 while touring through Italy. Got a good deal on a booking site, making this hotel even cheaper than the Ibis opposite it, even though it is a much better place. Room was somewhat old, but clean and well maintained. Plenty of amenities, though I am not a particular fan of the NH-bubble...

Stayed at the NH machiavelli during the Milan fashion week. Having previously stayed at NH Budapest, I found that its a fantastic chain of hotels. Rooms are very spacious and very modern. Staff were very friendly and helped with directions to all the local tourist attractions and means of transport. Taxi stand directly outside the hotel. It is the ideal...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
