My wife and I stayed for two nights at this hotel. It is a very good hotel that has all necessities near it. Staff was excellent and the room we stayed in was of very good size. Bathroom was also large. Breakfast was great. Good variety and taste. It is a bit of of a walk to the sightseeing attractions (30-45 min) but public transportation is close by. Check in and check out was a breeze. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
The main attraction of this hotel is its location. Just across the road, there is General Store where you get everything at very reasonable rate. Every important place is nearby. However, rooms are okay and Breakfast is also okay.
My partner and I had the distinct displeasure of staying here for one lousy, sleepless night in early October. I would describe this hotel at best 2 stars (this is being very generous.) We had the distinct displeasure of being in a room that shared walls with the nursery next door. What was supposed to be a relaxing night in Milan turned into the opposite. Screaming children accompanied by other loud noises filled our room until early evening then started again very early the next day. We could hear the toilet flush every time in the room above us. Speaking of toilets ours didn’t work. Was in a constant stated of being stuck in the flush cycle and wouldn’t shut off and was totally unusable. Now on to the bed. Do you enjoy sleeping on a mattress as soft as concrete with sheets that make you itch so much you wish you could scratch your skin off? Then book here immediately. Last but not least the breakfast. Inedible is the most polite way I can put it. The scrambled eggs tasted rotten. The bacon I couldn’t stomach a single bite of it. The food was awful. I ended up only eating a yogurt which was fine. Everything else was absolutely horrible. I recommend grabbing something at the small market across the street, much better. Overall extremely unhappy and would never recommend this hotel nor return to it ever again. …
Entrance was very open with marble floors and breakfast restaurant in the back. Room was nice and big with good size twin beds. Marble flooring in room and very nice, clean marble bathroom. The reception staff was quite friendly, especially the lady.
We spent 8 days at Hotel Marconi. This hotel offers nicely furnished, clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel location is very convenient since it is quite while very close to Milano Centrale, subway and many landmarks. Hotel offers enjoyable breakfast in the morning with excellent service, variety of food and made to order espressos and cappuccinos. Hotel personnel are very professional and helpful.
