The beds are really stiff and not comfartable. There is no sound isolaton what so ever in the walls. I could heare the neigbour as if he was in the same room. You can really see that is was a long time the hotel was renovated, it is starting to look bad. On the plus side is the breakfast. It was great.
I booked three nights in this hotel 3 months in advance via Expedia and received confirmation. But when I arrived there on 6 of October male receptionist told me that reservation cancelled by hotel because of issues with my credit card (it worked fine for other bookings and purchases) and they can only offer me triple room for 150 euro per night. (My original reservation was about 90 euro per night). This was not definitely price to pay for a night in 3 star hotel and all this looked like a fraud. I was told that it was not their responsibility to notify customer because I booked a room via Expedia. He refused to give me password for WI-Fi so that I could find accommodation. Rest of Sunday I spent looking for a place to stay, missed my restaurant reservation and was very stressed. I complained to Expedia, but all they did just apologized. Avoid hotel Soperga! They do not care about their customers.…
The hotel is located very close to the Milan Central station which is very convenient, especially if you are travelling out of Milan anywhere. It's also close to two metro stations, so travelling into the city is not too bad either. Surrounding the hotel there are a few decent pizzerias and cafes for a quick bite if needed. The rooms were clean and well kept. However, very few amenities on site eg: no kettle, no iron, really nothing else in the room. The kitchen staff were quite helpful in their limited capacity so kudos to them. Breakfast is not extravagant but pretty decent I would say for the price. Overall this is not a bad place to stay for a few nights in Milan, especially given it's location.
This Hotel for the price was perfect location only 5 minute walk to the Bus and Railway station which took us back to the Airport or getting a train to Lake Como which is far cheaper then getting a Taxi. Its a small Hotel but staff very helpful and friendly. If you want quick breakfast the bar and eating area is very nice but don't expect a full breakfast. Our room was fine with everything we needed and comfortable bed.
I stayed just one night at the Soperga Hotel as I was catching an early train to Bari the following morning. The Hotel is a ten minute walk from the Milan Central Train Station, in a quiet street. The city is beyond frenetic, wonderful but noisy and so after several hours out and about it was so good to come back to the tranquility of the hotel. Very clean, good toiletries and lovely, welcoming reception staff. There’s also a comfortable lounge area with a reasonably priced bar. I would certainly visit again when in Milan.
