Absolutely not a 4* hotel. Rooms were very outdated and I would say extremely dirty. Stains all over the walls & furniture, rips in the carpet, dust everywhere, hairs on bedding, dirt stains in bath. it was probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Hot breakfast very poor also. Desk staff and breakfast staff were very nice but that was the only positive for the hotel. Would avoid if possible

Rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable Breakfast is good, not so large choice but ok. Reception is understaffed, lady is nice and efficient but they should be two in such a large hotel. The rating I lower due to its location and the hotel is overpriced. It’s a simple hotel in an outskirts location, no restaurants, no metro nearby

I am totally satisfied with the hotel. Our room was on 11th floor so we had a great view. Staff of hotel are very kind, especially staff who manage the breakfast. Cleaning room, good breakfast, nice staff and excellent view! And about 10 minutes walking by metro.

We took this hotel as part of a Wowcher deal, due to Covid it was fairly quiet in Milan but the staff performed well and were very helpful. The hotel was clean and well looked after and breakfast was acceptable considering the times we live in. It may have been 1.5 mile from the city centre but there was an underground stop, within 10 mins walk which was useful for city travel as well as getting us to the airport.

We bought a mystery holiday package and were given Milan and this was our hotel. Although we didnt get a choice in our hotel, we were very happy with here! It is out of the city so a metro journey in is required, but it is a short 8 min walk to the station and cheap underground tickets. Our room was huge and the bed was massive and very comfy! Due to Covid, the breakfast wasnt a buffet but instead we were provided with a mix of continental items and lots of them. Supermarket in the next road too was a great help. A great room, hotel and lovely staff.

Couldn’t sleep as the room was so hot and fed up with bad air. No possibility to open windows. Put the heater down without any significant effect. Evening pizza in the hotel was just disappointing. A blame for Italy. Any frozen product is better.

As part of a Wowcher deal, a friend and I had the good fortune of staying in the Best Western Blaine and Francis Hotel. All the staff were polite, welcoming and courteous from arrival through to departure. Check in was slick and we could leave our bags there to go off into Milan ( we had arrived early so our room was not ready). On our return our key card was ready. Our room with the requested twin beds was a really good size. A mini-bar fridge which was useful for milk for our tea / coffee. The room had a kettle. The bathroom was fine with generous towels, toiletries and hairdryer. We paid extra for breakfast ( 10 euros). It was delicious - a buffet style ... from eggs, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt - the crusty bread was so fresh and chunky apricot/ strawberry/ cheery jams were divine. Pastries & cake too. It was 5/10 minutes from the metro but if you have no actual plans then I would say a good walk into Milan but easy if you like walking and would certainly do that when I stay again. I would not hesitate to go again- so much more to see in Milan.

This hotel was situated near my course venue. It is not in the nicest part of Milan, with construction taking place adjacently. The building is old and the decor from the 80's. The room was ok, if just a little on the cold side for December. The bathroom was a bit colder, but water was hot. The breakfast is average with fresh Orange juice an coffee only available on request. The breakfast hall is shared with the reception and can be noisy and breezy dependent on people and main entrance being opened. All in all, the hotel is ok and staff friendly. Before i end up on the street in milan, i would book here again.
