The staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms were made daily however the sheets were not changed having spent three nights at the hotel. No decent views as there were construction works outside which I didn't mind. However, cleanliness could be improved on and perhaps the rooms could be updated though it still looked grand. Overall, great location to metro,... More

This is definetly the most cosy hotel I had ever booked. The room was little, but enough. Everything was perfect from the design of the room to its temperature and bathroom. The breakfast was very nice, with a lot of cookies, fruits, vegetables, italian cheese and ham. What i really like is that you can make by yourself fresh orange... More

we were given the usual double bed room which was with a small bathroom. we requested for a change, which was very well accepted and acted upon. Next day we were shifted to a bigger room with a good spacious bathroom with a bath tub. Reception is friendly and helpful. Overall good experience.

The smallest room I have ever stayed in my travelling life. You need to open the shower doors in order to sit on the toilet or your knees won't fit. Cigarette burns all around the sink. The rooms on each floor are so packed that you can hear every sound from any other room (not to mention people coming back... More

My wife and I arrived by train from Cinque Terre and took a short taxi ride to the hotel. The staff were friendly at check-in. The room was smaller but definitely adequate. The hotel is nicely located if you want to walk to either the fashion district or the area around Duomo di Milano. The breakfast was chaotic and definitely... More

A beautiful hotel that is in a great location. Staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was modern & clean with a shower that played different colored lights. We were able to walk to the "Fashion District" & also the beautiful Duomo! This hotel is also in walking distance to the Train Station as well as bus stops.

Stayed for two nights. Staff were nice. Room was clean & comfortable. Reasonably priced. Didn't have breakfast. 10min walk from station, 25min walk to the Duomo. Thought it was odd that we needed to leave our room key with the front desk but must just be security policy. All in all good stay.

Following a positive stay at the Hotel Baviera in 2011, I was disappointed upon my return in March 2016. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but the overall management of this hotel is quite poor. Front desk staff were rude and the male staff made us (2 females) uncomfortable with patronizing comments. The breakfast is appalling, and the instant coffee... More

Booked it through Hotwire as they mentioned it was 4 star hotel but its definitely not. I would rate it as 2 star. The rooms are cramped up. A Small TV up on ceiling and torn sheets. The beds were horrible as well. I felt cheated booking this room.

While we were only planning a short stay in Milan, the first front desk clerk we encountered was less than courteous. The only two people we found nice and helpful were Rosy and the nice man working the evening shift at the front desk. He was helpful with both finding food and getting us around. The hotel itself is a... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
