I booked this hotel for 2 nights through a Last Minute secret deal. So when I discovered which hotel we were staying at, and read the reviews, I was disappointed and downright scared. But was it really that bad? Not at all. I felt I got a good price for the hotel and was happy with the room based on... More

We initially chose this place because it was advertised as having a shuttle service to the airport. Unfortunately after we checked in, we found that the shuttle service would cost us 100 Euro. The building has a distinctly french charm with a variety of unique features that blend together to give you a vibe that lands somewhere between The Grand... More

Booked this hotel using the wotif mystery hotel deal and when I found out the name and read the reviews which were not great I was a little nervous. But the hotel was lovely, our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Bathroom a little small but good. The reception area had an air of faded grandeur which gave the... More

Last year, I booked this hotel for my family when they visited me. So, I decided to book it again for my cousins, and the fact that the location of this hotel is very near my apartment. I went into check in with them, the front desk was very rude. It seem like we were bothering him with our check... More

Good location. Walking distance to all tourist attractions (e.g. Duomo) and Malbense airport train and Metro (Cadorna). Have visited here with children and as a couple - perfect for both occasion. p.s. Ask restaurant recommendation from reception (Puccini)

what a fantastic stay in Milan. This hotel is in a perfect location. I have read other reviews and I am amazed, the hotel had a period feel and was clean and comfortable but not dated. Would use again and the price was fantastic

The hotel is absolutely fine. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. Unfortunately I'm sorry to tell the Mokinba Hotel King that his hotel is very dated. Wallpaper looks tired, the bathroom is relatively poor. The hotel has 4 stars above the door, but this certainly isn't true. The price is okay though, and I'm sure a genuine... More

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Not only is it rated at 4 star when it is really a 2 star the guy at the front desk in the mornings was very rude ! The location is great for both walking or catching the tram. Personally I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dear Andronick, I will be very short as per your review. Very sorry if the guy at the recepion was rude, but you do not give enough information about what happened and here nobody recalls your stay. Please send us anything it might be worth to know and we will take all necessary measures on this matter. More

The hotel most definitely is not a 4* hotel. Everything about the hotel seems outdated, charming, but outdated. Rooms are very small and the quality of the beds is sub par. Although the hotel is relatively cheap it doesnt live up to the expectation. Obtaining a wifi connection is a complicated process and there is no enclosed storage for luggage.

Overall, I was just expecting more for the hotel. It was a good price in relation to many others in Milan but just a few things that results in a lower score. First, it is easy to get to. We travelled from Genoa by train to the Milan Centrale Station, and within 15 minutes had got to the hotel. The... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
