On the day of departure we went out for a walk and returned at 11:30 a.m., more than enough time to organize ourselves and check out, well, we already had all our belongings in a bag waiting at the concierge, a very unpleasant moment. which was witnessed by several employees and also someone from management who was the least interested in knowing what was happening or at least offering the appropriate apologies in the case. People are not merchandise, and that's how they treat us sometimes, a shame because they probably don't like to be treate d like that when it's their turn to be customers.

This hotel has by far the most unprofessional and rude employees ever. Story: I went to check in my single room along with my 6 month old baby. They start giving me attitude and kept saying “you were supposed to book a double not a single bec you have a baby you are wrong!” Also one of the employees whom I wasn’t checking in with came and started verbally insulting me by saying “so did you not let the airline know as well that you were bring your baby?! And just showed up with him like that?” I ask to speak to manager but little did I know that the manager himself needed an attitude adjustment as well, I go to him and ask him “are you their manager?” He answers with a grim on his face “yes I am” I tell him “this man over here has insulted me by his words and cannot speak to guests like that!” Surprisingly he answers back saying “well I heard the whole conversation and he did not say anything wrong and he does not have an attitude” I was shocked! I told him obviously you both have attitude problems, then he yelled “you don’t know how to speak!” I cannot believe that a hotel manager was literally yelling at me in the lobby! Then they started speaking about me in Italien so I would not understand So rude! So insulting ! Ps a 6 month old baby does not make anyone book a double they could’ve simply said oh we didn’t know you had a baby let us give you a crib or cot but instead they decided to insult me as a person and as a mom.

Central and easy to reach duomo with walking distance. The hotel is old style, comfortable and staff was really gentle. They gave me room early in the morning since there was availability and upgraded to bigger bed. Nice stay and good breakfast

Location: - less than 10min walk to the duomo Room: - design is dated - bed is shaky - tables quite dirty; I cleaned the table with wet wipes and it was full of dust - provided bedroom slippers but lousy and thin quality - multiple cracks on the walls around the room - mini bar is free; includes water, soft drinks, snacks. Replenished daily. - room was extremely warm and uncomfortable. Receptionist sent someone up the room (who doesn’t speak or understand English) to ask us to just open the window. Super noisy at night affecting your sleep because you have to open the window. - pillows are pretty flat - WiFi works - house keeping did a great job in cleaning the room everyday Toilet: - small yet functional - bathtub shower - no shampoo, no conditioner, and no body lotion - no bathrobes - provided toothbrush and shower caps Breakfast: - from 7am to 10.30am at their restaurant - the only thing is liked about this hotel is their breakfast; wide variety and good quality breakfast spread Customer service: - not the best service; receptionist couldn’t find our booking despite giving them the confirmation number. they insisted there’s no such booking. Until we told them to check again and again and again. Finally, they realized it’s the name on the booking was different from the passport (first and last name somehow combined and they couldn’t tell it’s the same person). - not helpful with the bus booking to Serravalle Outlet, they asked us to go to the pick up point and buy the ticket instead. Didn’t even bother giving us more information. (a few years ago when I stayed in a different hotel in Milan, the receptionist helped to book the bus for me, don’t understand why Hotel Brunelleschi is so unhelpful) - requested for transport to the airport on our last night, booking was done immediately. The next morning, the driver arrived 20min early. It’s 120euros from hotel to Malpensa airport.

Great price for the location, 4 min walking to the Duomo di Milano. Rooms were very big, clean and fully equipped. Food to the room was also great and fast. Will definitely come back. If anyone is looking for an affordable option to stay near the city center, this is a good one

I stayed for two nights in April this year... 7 months ago. Business trip. Doing my end of the year expenses I realized that I'd been overcharged by a night. It was an honest mistake by me and the checkout person... I was in a hurry to leave. At 19:46 last night I sent the details (including a copy of my inbound flight and outbound train as evidence of a 2-night stay) and requested reimbursement. This morning at 9:50am, just 12 hours after my overnight email, I received an email from Bruno Bernardi, General manager, apologizing for the error and posting the credit to my credit card. No questions asked. Now THAT is great customer service. On top of that, the hotel is very convenient, comfortable, and has a good breakfast. I penned a story on my first morning's breakfast about an encounter there with a great Australian couple. For some strange reason Trip Advisor won't allow me to share a link (saying it's promotional copy ... I'm not promoting anything). If you want to read the 2 minute story go to Medium-dot-com and search "The Flying Tomato" dated April 28, 2023 (when I stayed there). It's also under my Medium-dot-com name "CQinParis". I'm definitely staying there next time in Milan.

A really enjoyable 3 night stay in a superior room in this well presented hotel less than ten minutes easy stroll from the Piazza Duomo. All the staff were helpful, attentive and courteous and made us very welcome. We didn't dine in the hotel but the breakfast had a nice variety of sweet and savoury options and good fresh coffee. A burst water main in the street outside caused a loss of water for half a day but the staff responded to the issue sympathetically and provided bottled water on request. We would not hesitate to choose the Brunelleschi for another trip to Milan

Location- 10/10 superb Breakfast- 9/10 excellent Rooms- 7/10 dated, but functional. Bathroom was surprisingly updated. Service- 3/10. Disinterested staff that are unresponsive and seem like they want to be somewhere else. Hotel vibe- 2/10. Boring lobby, no real bar, empty restaurant. This place will always be in demand due to its location and lower price point vs other Milan options. So they don’t really need to try that hard to please. And they don’t. 50/50 chance of my returning- mostly due to the location and decent breakfast.

Just a few steps from the central square and the Duomo so perfect location. Many cafes and restaurants nearby but hotel does have its own restaurant for dinner if required. No kettle in room but complimentary water and snacks in the fridge. Hotel is well worn and tired. Clean and spacious room, bathroom functional but no shampoo provided. Breakfast OK and staff all very friendly. Many sights to visit within walking distance, highly recommend Pinacoteca Ambrosiana for a different and more peaceful aspect of Milan culture.
