The location is perfect (a very short walk from the Duomo and centre) , the staff were very helpful / polite, the room (and in fact the whole hotel) was clean and pleasant, the breakfast was abundant with a large choice and variety of products. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, literally a 3 minute walk to the Duomo and main square. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy but a little dated, it looks like it hasn't been decorated since the 80's. The facilities in the room were fine, the breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. The... More

The hotel is very close to Milano's center, it is really good. Chambers are nice and calm, and all services are very good. The only weak point is the breakfast, which is served in a very large and very bright room, and crowded in the weekend at key hours. If you are not completely woken up yet, you are sure... More

This was a great hotel and very quiet with a helpful staff. I had read other reviews that shaped my expectation and I was very pleased to find a very different experience. Highly recommend . They have quite the spread for breakfast and even make their own Parmesan.

Chose this hotel because of its location, 5 minutes walk from Duomo, so it was ideal for seeing all the principal sights. All the staff were relaxed, friendly and efficient, especially those in the breakfast room, who replenished the wide range dishes regularly. Some of the best orange juice I have tasted, freshly squeezed in a machine on the counter.... More

Chose this hotel primarily on location and was not disappointed. Standard of accommodation and welcome good although the younger members of staff had more warmth than those nearer my vintage.. Enjoyed a light evening snack in the bar area.

I enjoyed my stay at the Brunelleschi. It's large and very 1980s in its appearance, but the location is perfect -- a stone's throw away from the Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele -- and the rooms are quiet comfortable. The 1980s/early 1990s interiors are extremely sturdy and obviously built to last. Breakfast is plentiful, but I the breakfast restaurant... More

Overpriced for what it is. Appears to be a large, business hotel. Staff at check in extremely indifferent. Rooms have perhaps the ugliest decor you will ever see. They are, however, clean and spacious. Couches in lobby are ripped and old. Breakfast has a reasonable selection but is in the basement which feels a little odd. Location is good, close... More

we enjoyed our stay apart from one small thing ! the room had a mini bar that did not work I reported this to reception and was told it would be sorted, it never was ! shame because all the staff were very friendly,. It was my wife's birthday while we were there the barman overheard us talking about it... More

The hotel is in a central position which means that it's possible to walk to most of the unmissable sights such as the Duomo etc. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, the staff were efficient and professional and there was a variety of food available for breakfast. All in all I would be happy to stay in the... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
