The Hotel Mediolanum is a modern 4 stars business hotel member of the international chain Worldhotels. The hotel has been recently renovated following the last trends of the international hotellerie. The common spaces show bright colours as prevailing and shapes inspired by the contemporary design: the interiors recall the style of famous architects like Zanuso and Le Corbusier. The Hotel is located in a strategic position thanks to the closeness of the Central Station (MM2 Green Subway Line): fulcrum of the city of Milano and Air Terminal. At a small range of few hundred of meters from Via Mauro Macchi you can find the subway stations of Porta Venezia (MM1 Red Line with direct connection to the congress center and exhibition quarter) and Repubblica (MM3 Yellow Line). The railway link stops in both and it connects with the nearby cities. The heart of the city is reachable on foot: in 10 minutes you can arrive to the historical part of the town where the Duomo (Cathedral) and the Teatro La Scala (Opera House) stand. In the hotel's surroundings you can find the Garibaldi Station (high speed train terminal). The 51 Mediolanum rooms will put you in direct contact with the emotions caused by the colours: the light fills up the interiors which get painted of lively, passionate, relaxing colours. On this trail the Superior and Deluxe rooms were realized following the principles of the chromotherapy. This science links the psychical and physical wellbeing to the tones. The buttonhole flower of this rooms is the remote controller placed next to the bed thanks to which you can change the lighting in red, blue, green or yellow or mix them up. According to your mood and needs you can switch to a relaxing green, or to a concentrating purple. All the rooms All the rooms are soundproof and equipped with air conditioning, parquet floor, free satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and safe.Inside the hotel the guests can have a seat in the elegant lounge bar where a pleasant appetizer is served together with refreshing cocktails. At the light restaurant you can taste a special selection of the best Italian dishes enriched by refined wines. The Business corner is equipped with a PC with internet connection, a printer, fax and a photocopier and it is always at the guests' disposal. In addition at the Hotel Sanpi, located just 300 mt away under the same management, you have access to the modern fitness room Technogym wellness and to the meeting room Venezia. The Hotel Mediolanum Milano is member of the international hotel chain Worldhotels and it is identified by the code WW in the GDS systems. The reservations can be done directly or via gds or internet.thank you for your attention and time.

Our family of five stayed at the Mediolanum for four days over Christmas. We had a fabulous visit. The hotel is centrally located and perfect for our trip on Christmas day on the Bernina railway to St Moritz which was unforgettable. The hotel was clean with a great breakfast and the staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We would highly recommend the Mediolanum for a great location for a city break - and Milan is beautiful.

We stayed there for 4 days tot visit the city of Milan. We like to walk, so the location was good for us. It's a walk to the city center, but definitly doable.
The staff was very friendly, no request was to much for them.
There was a lot of noise, inside and outside the hotel. F.e. the fire alarm went off at 7 a.m.
Breakfast was okay but quite limited and no variation in the breakfast nor during the four days.

Myself and friend came here beginning of December from london. We came out to watch inter milan vs roma play and found this hotel.

We got to hotel around 11am as we had early flight. We couldn’t check in at this time so we had little walk till our room was ready at 12.00
We was greeted by main guy at reception and his porter which both couldn’t do enough for you.
Hotel is spotless clean and rooms made everyday.
Disappointing part of hotel was the breakfast photos wasnt the same while we was there. Maybe because it wasnt summer who knows.

Every easy to get to central of milan. By there underground. Hotel is 5-10 minutes walk use google maps but its straight forward

In general hotel is in great spot and lovely hotel.
I will return

Photos on their website are deceitful. The hotel is very old with a tiny dated lobby which doesn’t serve any drinks or food since covid. The lift is small and old though functional. The corridors with dated dirty carpets had seen better days. The double room is nowhere near the pics shown online. It’s spartan with a just a double bed and a tiny long side table. The shower cubicle is so small that you have to turn around after going into it to gingerly close the door. The shower head drips the whole night splattering water all over outside the cubicle stall. The hotel breakfast is served underground. Dark and small room with very limited selection of pasteries and fruits. It was also a whole 15 min walk from the Milan train station dragging the heavy luggage on uneven pathways in the hot summer. Oh yes the hotel is so old that it still uses the ancient door keys that weighed 3 kg. You have to leave the key at Reception every time you leave the hotel for fear that guests may kill someone with it. I won’t want the stone on my handbag either!

Its clean. Like actually clean. The cleaning madafakkas in this hotel actually do a good job. Its a colorful and artistic hotel, not very suited for a business trip, but perfect for a weekend vacation.

Staff is friendly and professional, even remembering what coffee you had for breakfast the prior day.

Located close to the central station gives excellent mobility in the city, but if you want to walk to every tourist attraction, everything is 30 min away.

Good hotel for the price. It was located very close to the train station (8 minute walk) and an easy walk to the city centre. Breakfast was great with a variety of foods. The rooms were simple but had everything one would need. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel just down the street (8 minute walk) from the train station.

Room was large and nicely updated. Was very quiet for sleeping. Bed was comfortable and sheets were soft.
Bathroom was long and narrow but nicely updated. Shower was small for large man.

Breakfast was nice. Hot foods included scrambled eggs, American style hot dogs. Assortment of pastries and fresh fruits and juices were available. Coffee was good and plentiful.

Enough electrical outlets to charge two iPhones at night. WiFi was fine. Good breakfast with scrambled egg choice on the buffet. The location is walking distance to the central train station. The location is a block away from street car transit to the central historic center. Our window overlooked two beautiful Belle Époque buildings. The furniture in the lobby was disturbingly bizarre, trying unsuccessfully to be chic.

The staff did an excellent job in providing information and covering for extra needs.
The rooms were clean and colorful, the beds comfy and the shower had enough room.
Short walk from Milano Centrale Train Station.
-
The rooms did not isolate well against noise at all. We could hear every nosie from outside, which is a lot considering its in the middle of Milan. So if you are someone who needs silence to sleep, avoid this hotel. A pity as otherwise the service and rooms were top.
(this is why I cant give it a better rating)

Good location near Milan Central Station, very convenient for visitors by train to walk from central station. and there is also easy to visit most of the tourist spots in Milan by MRT.

Various restaurants nearby, easy to find foods to meet budget as well as descent restaurants.

Nice staffs, room is very clean and comfortable.

The room we had was very comfortable with en suite bathroom and king bed. Close to all amenities including dozens of restaurants and 300 metres to main railway station. Excellent value at $A170 per day.
