Milan hotels are expensive and difficult to house a family of four. You will do a fair amount of searching but look no further than Duomo Suites. Reviews are accurate about this place - location, furnishings and host were all excellent. We stayed in July during 'saldi' season which for Cso Vittorio Emmanuele means ALOT of people from morning til...

I was traveling with my family and we rent 2 apartments last month. The service was very good and helpfull. But the best is the location, near duomo cathedral, near subway train, near shopping center. So 9 out of 10 we will stay there if we have a change to visit milan again.

Stayed here for 2 nights in mid June. We had a clean and spacious studio which fit our family of 3 very comfortably. The location is superb, just a few minutes stroll from the Duomo. Being in the heart of the action also means that there is a fair bit of street noise going on till late (this may not...

Location is fabulous...short walking distance to everything(Duomo, galleria emanuale,La Scala, Quadrilatero, etc. etc) This is basically your own apartment. There's plenty of space with a nice kitchen and american-size bathroom. Giuseppe is very friendly and helpful with any info you need and he speaks perfect english. Other reviewers mention expense but this is Milan and I believe the expense was...

It is an appartment like studio. Very close to the centre in good location. Clean. Without reception and with cards to take coffee and something to eat in a bar very close. A lot of noise because is at the centre and little bit expensive. But in genere very good stay.

It is really in the heart of Duomo area. My work booked the suites for 4 people, so it was really A LOT of space for me. Can't really think of anything bad about the place. Very proper especially for business trip.

Disclaimer - we have no connection with the Duomo Suites, its management, or Milan for that matter. We have just completed a three day stay at the Duomo Suites, having made a desperate, last-minute high season booking. We lucked out. 'We' means a family of five - parents, two older (adult) children and one younger teen. We booked two suites...

The Duomo Suites were a superb experience for my friend and I. We had a long stay in Milano and decided to stay here instead of your average hotel. The value was excellent, the service was attentive and prompt and courteous. The room was large; it had a walk-in closet, kitchen and full bathroom. There was a wonderful view of...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

“The one bedroom units have two queen-sized beds (one a folding couch) but you would have to be very chummy to house four adults there.”

“we stayed in vittorio suite which overlooks the main shopping street and one can see the duomo from this room. it's a decent sized room and had a sofa bed but only 2 people are allowed for some reason. the other type of studio was much bigger but not front street facing but equally noisy and no proper curtains only blinds like in offices, therefore some light seeped through. size and cleanliness was good in both apartments.”
