Yes the hotel building and rooms are amazing - spectacular actually but the staff made our stay extraordinary. Many thanks to Andrea, Sabrina and the rest of their staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious - best omelette I’ve had at a hotel and my husband said the coffee was perfect.

Hello everyone who will read this informative contribution.   I was a guest at the Hotel Principe di Savoia for 2 and a half days.   There are, how can it be everywhere, things that are possitive and others that are less possitive. Let's start some no possitive: Welcome in the reception I would say just cold, almost like a computer that explains all the hours of breakfast, gym and various things, and immediately asking if you want to reserve a table at the restaurant. Before arriving I called the hotel asking for a car and a man replied that I could take a taxi alone or else it cost 120 Euro a private car and he told me that will be beter that i take a Taxi alone. I can believe that a hotel like the Principe di Savoia has no connection with companies to provide this service to customers. . . There was still 1 hour left for my arrival and didn't ask for the price, I asked for a car to pick me up.   Then when you arrive at almost all the 5 star hotels there is always someone who welcomes you, they sit with you, offer you a tea, water, champagne and explain everything about the hotel.  But not so upright as in a line at the post office. . . like was I think only for 1200 Euros for 2 nights and having a welcome like that was not so nice! Because i did booking  a 5 star.   Possitive things:   The staff of the Bar Service and Restaurant, always smiling and very cordial all the time!   Explaining all the menu and various things. . .  I would like to leave the Dear Greeting to Mr. Luigi Capararo who referred my  thoughts to the management and they were very kind making me find in the room a Bottle of Excellent Italian Proseco with some-strawberries. ( Thanks ) and to Mr. Iovine Nicola who served me in the Vine Tasting Dinner.   He was truly Professional and with a typical sympathy from all Italians   What I would say was fantastic and I recommend everyone who presses good wines.   I would say that all in all it was a pleasant time. Best Danke  S.P.

For a romantic getaway in a very classic place, this is the one. Amazing service and hospitality, nice and classic rooms, legendary hotel who hosted many celebrities, very nice bar with tasty Champaign-based cocktails, nice gastronomic food at the restaurant. My 2 cents: - When coming to a classic hotel in Italy I would have preferred a restaurant serving traditional Italian and Milanese food. Acanto serves more a refined French cuisine made by an Italian chef. Only the amuse-bouche were Italian. So if you want your traditional cotoletta alla milanese, you have to be at the lounge bar or do room service. This is a pity. - The breakfast is the worse I ever had in a 5-star hotel. Disorganised service and very very poor food quality and buffet presentation. I do not understand how this is possible in a hotel where everything else is close to perfection. Anyway, we claimed that at the reception during check-out and they offered the breakfast. Thank you for the gesture. Of course the hotel is not located in a nice area but to be honest the city center is very close (20 minutes walk or 5 minutes in taxi) and the train station right there.

Despite being huge, the hotel is well managed and care is taken of any detail you may imagine. Cleanliness is a well accomplished Must and Covid protection is omnipresent. Staff and any service is friendly and customer oriented. Rooms are very large, and beds are outstanding . Location of hotel is great. With a 10 minute walk along interesting typical Italian cafes you join city center. We definitely will return to this fantastic hotel.

I really loved everything, the service was great, Martina was professional cordial, and attentive. I felt very well looked after. The food was outstanding. Decoration is amazing. As other noticed, warmer and more enjoyable than their UK and Californian sisters.
