Smell in room hallway; fitness equipment needing repair; room needing refresh; reception serious mix up with accounting; food mediocre. Cheap holiday decor with penguins everywhere on the restaurant ceilings; poor lighting throughout lobby
I really enjoyed my stay as I could easily walk to sites and was by the train station Free breakfast and it was simple but I like being able to eat before I hit the road for the day I usually walk about 8 miles a day
Stayed here for two nights recently. The staff at the hotel were excellent throughout, from front-desk to concierge to bars and spa staff were all top notch. Hotel is situated in the best location - close to all the touristy spots but just away from the crowds at the same time. Bar was fantastic. The only drawback is that there was absolutely zero sound insulation in the room, so we could hear people chatting next door, in the room above, in the garden or guests/staff walking past/talking in the hallway. The room wasn't really black out neither. But other than that it's an excellent property.
So we are very frequent four seasons boosters and we had booked a suite which was amazing. At the time it was our sons birthday and when my kids got let into the room it was like heaven as they were surrounded by sweets. We also did a couple of meals in the hotel. The food is a tiny bit expensive but tottally with it. The chef is very talented. It is in a great location and the spa is great but the pool is over chlorinated. All around the staff was great and I recommended you go there
Food was delicious and service was professional, friendly, smartly dressed and all wearing masks. The cocktails were good and the the mocktails had a nice and “grown up” taste rather than being spiced apple juice as you may find in other places. Had good vegetarian options and all the food was very fresh. Very good experience.
Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was phenomenal. But the best part of it was the staff. Thanks for everything. We will never forget the time we spend in Four Seasons Milano.
I am a total fan of the Four Seasons hotel group and it often dictates my journeys!! However this was the first Four Seasons that disappointed !!! Firstly we sought to book some Michelin star restaurants prior to our visit and the hotel had not done it despite a late confirmation days before we traveled!!! The hotel was stunning and our room despite being deluxe overlooking a side street and not overlooking the courtyard as most rooms did. The staffing at the hotel was inadequate and we had to offer find a waiter when we were sitting in the gardens - it was clear they were under- resourced. The inner courtyard garden was beautiful- but this is a hotel for city without a pool(only indoor - not outdoor) - I would not stay here mid summer and great early part of the year or later. The room was comfortable and restaurant was ok too as was breakfast - concierge were helpful though busy and constantly changing team !! Unfortunately it is the first Four Seasons which let us down!!!…
Beautiful spot for lunch. Tables adjoin the garden. Prompt and friendly service - excellent food. Only caveat is don’t go here on a budget (obvious I suppose - who goes to a Four Seasons on a budget?). And at some point before or after lunch - use their bathrooms! Cleanest and likely the nicest ones in Milan.
US$4,682 (4,434 euros) for 2 nights should buy more than: a small room on ground floor with a view of a gardening hose; mediocre vegetarian dinner for 2 without alcohol; laundry that loses clothing without replacement; concierge who cannot get lunch reservation across the street; maid service to make up room any hour of the day but before 5pm; restaurant staff that come to the table without guest needing to walk to them. On the Positive side: the spa is excellent, extraordinary in-house tailoring service (albeit 1 day late). With the exception of Mr Stefano Sparta, who is exceptional, This hotel has fallen far below Four Season’s brand standard and should be avoided until they recover.
I went to Milan Fashion Week, and I had a great time. The hotel is the reference for agencies and for fashion houses, so we were together without imagining it. Best location in the fashion district and close to the fashion show showrooms.
