Nice little hotel in great location in like 2min distance to Scala and 3min to Galleria Emanuele. My personal highlight was the live music every morning at breakfast as well as the friendly staff. It's what you're looking for if you wanna spend two days in Milano.

Very pleased with my stay at Hotel Milano Scala. Nice rooms, very helpful staff and awesome location. Unfortunately, hotel restaurants were closed. 10mn away from Via Montenapoleone and 5mn from Scala Theatre.

This hotel has a nice warm feel to it. The rooms are comfortable great for relaxing. The staff was very kind and accommodating without being intrusive. It's a great choice for a nice boutique hotel. The location is also great. My only issue was that I paid for a room with a balcony and they didn't give me one. So...

Hotel very well located in the city center. Only 10 min by walk from the Domo and the Gallery Vitoria. Cosy and comfortable rooms, nicely decorated: - complementary sweets and water upon arrival - bathrobe and slippers available in the room -bed mattress ok but a bit stuff from my opinion - bathroom confortable but unfortunately there was a very...

Dear Wendymon, thank you for your kind review and for choosing our hotel for your last stay in Milan. We are very glad you appreciated the style of our rooms. Unfortunately during your stay a sudden problem occurred with the municipality sewer system and what you experienced was a direct consequence. Coffee machines or kettles are of course available on...

Great location within walking distance of restaurants in Brera, Duomo and Castello Sforzesco. Friendly staff, particularly at the front desk, and clean, nice rooms. Great breakfast. And the rooms come with a free neat little device like a smartphone that has GPS and free calls to the US. Very cool. Will definitely stay here again if ever in Milan again.

The hotel is expensive with average service. They didn't replenish tg bottled water daily and no kettle to boil hot water. The breakfast is acceptable and location is near duomo. Overall not too bad experience.

Stayed at the Scala in early December for 1 night. Had an absolutely wonderful experience. The rooms are tight but clean and efficient, and made the best use of every available square inch. The staff were as friendly and courteous as possible, and the breakfast spread was both enormous and tasty. You are in the middle of the Brera neighborhood...

Dear Mr 703Tony, Thank you for your kind review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Hotel Milano Scala is a boutique hotel created from an historic 19th-century mansion in the historic city center, this is the reason why you might have found our rooms a bit smaller. On the other side, they are very cute, comfortable...

Highly recommend this hotel. Close to Duomo. Cozy room - small but well appointed. Lovely "courtyard" style area off my room. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Unfortunately not enough time to enjoy all it had to offer - or rooftop area. Definitely will choose this hotel for any return trip to Milan.

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
