Enjoyed 3 nights in this delightful hotel in December. Although not central it is easy enough to get into the centre of town on the number 57 bus which only costs 1.5 euro and takes around 1/2 hour at the most.

Great rooms. Quality beds. Extremely quiet. Wifi is excellent everywhere. VERY friendly staff and a tremendous breakfast. Ask the front to request a taxi if you need it and they are there in less than five minutes.

there is a little "tobacco shop" which is 5 min away which is like a corner shop. There are a number of take away pizzeria and kebab shops, not necessarily what I would call proper sit down restaurants. I don't think it's unsafe at night at all albeit not much to see in the area.
