I agree with much of what said before me... but at 35 Euro for private room in Milan that is actually the best that you can get. Finding the place - not so hard. Not far from bus #190 that circle the city. Than few minutes short walk. Look for signs.. Reception - the guy was definitely NOT friendly. You... More

Rooms are expensive considering their decoration or renovation. Typical feeling from a big city hostelling not close... More

This place is well located. It's only a short walk from the Lampugnano bus station. It is however, the worst hostel I've stayed at for a long time. The first night my my bed actually broke, and although I asked at the desk the next day, it was never fixed. I had to fix it on my own. I also... More

I'm being generous with 2 stars because our 2nd night was definitely better than our first. I will preface my review by acknowledging that I booked a triple room with private bathroom via hostelbookers.com. With whom you pay approximately a 12% deposit when you book. I was supposed to pay 70€ per night for 2 nights. Meaning hostelbookers.Com took a... More

I stayed there only for one night & was out all day. It is definitely far from the central Milan but metro station is at walk able distance. The staff was friendly but room was very small, there was only one charging point which was supposed to be shared by everyone in the room. Bad shower area & wash room.... More

The hostel is located 5mins walk from the subway. A massive building with many rooms. Not clean not tidy, I'm okay level hostel. Lockers are out side of the room, I had to go and in many times a day. Good breakfast and so so services. Yeah this hostel is okay for men but not for ladies I reckon.

Stay at Piero Rotta only for a night iff you are looking for a budget stay in Milano. I found it impossible to make friends here. People travelled in groups and spoke Italian. Everyone seemed busy and unsocial. People visited the common area(which was not so great) only to charge their phones and access the wifi. The hostel serves a... More

This is by far the worst place where I have ever stayed in! Extremely old fashioned and outdated. Outside it might look nice but the inside is totally different. Looks like some old hospital or prison almost. The breakfast was just ridiculously bad. The showers were disgusting just like the toilets. Beds were nasty and we were scared to get... More

I stayed here in March and it was simply very good and the staff is very friendly. It is clean, near the Metro and you can get very quickly to the center. It has so many sightseeings that its rather impossible to see all at once. Better you take at least a week. Enjoy MILANO.

I went to this hostel several times during the last 20 years! I think first time was in November 1993 and at that time it was probably the only hostel in Milan. Last time I spent one night there was in Febraury 2010. Nowadays I won't come back. It's ok if you are on a budget and staying max 1... More
