Great Wednesday to Wednesday half-board stay in mid-August (through Thomson Lakes and Mountains). Staff were great, whether it was front of house, restaurant, bar or cleaners. Food was wonderful and Rosanna was lovely at our table. Cleanliness was immaculate throughout the hotel, whether it was inside or out. Check out the hotel's website which acts as an ideal brochure. Just had a wonderful week at Flora. Immaculately clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of food. Nice swimming pool - does get busy trying to get a sun bed ! We had a room on top floor - had two balconies, beautiful. About a 10-15 minute walk into central Stresa. Would visit again!

We had a wonderful stay. We found the location excellent as we enjoyed the short walk into the centre of Stresa along the lakeside. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stresa was a perfect base to explore the area. The pool was lovely and clean and never too busy so we could enjoy a swim. The food...

Our encounter with Hotel Flora was limited to dealing with the front desk and being there on location for a few hours. It was the most hideous experience in an Italian hotel in many years of travel in Italy. In fact, it was the rudest and most dishonest front desk personnel ever, while the location of the hotel is arguably...

Back to our favourite Hotel Flora for another return visit and having been before several times were not let down by our expectations. Many of the rooms have been completely updated, particularly the bathrooms, carpet has been replaced by a lovely light laminate style flooring, giving the rooms that extra light airy feeling. In all of our stays at the...

We chose a small hotel as we feel you get better service, which proved right in this case. The staff were so helpful with regards to bus and train timetables. The waitresses were so pleasant, and anything yue asked for you got.

We had a very enjoyable week staying at the Hotel Flora. We had paid extra for a lake view room and the view from our second floor balcony was wonderful; it lifted our spirits every time we looked out to see the lake, the Borromean Islands and the mountains beyond. The room itself was stylish and comfortable with a really...
