Cannot fault the location of this hotel in centre of Baveno...great for bus and ferry links to other parts of the lake. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Buffet breakfast poor and there were no hot options. Other meals were unimmaginative. Shower room was smallest I have seen anywhere on my travels with loose light fitting and "wonky" vanity unit door.... More

This is our fourth visit to this charming albergo. As always, this lovely little hotel did us proud. Very welcoming and comfortable with excellent food thoughtfully made and catering for vegetarian requirements with a choice! This hotel is certainly a wonderful little find - we shall be back.......

We've enjoyed one night in the hotel Eden. The room was pretty small but ok for the price. The hotel is located directly at the main road - so make sure you get a room at the back of the building what consequently means that you are missing the beautiful view on the lake. Don't miss to have breakfast at... More

The Hotel is simple, and a little old, but the team is very very nice and attentive! The Internet works fairly good, and beds are comfortable! The breakfast is simple but good! There's no parking in the hotel, so you have to park on the street, there's some free parking areas and also some paid areas.

This hotel has been owned by the Pagani family since 1907. In that time they have truly learned how to run a hotel. From the moment we walked in to reception to leaving 7 days later we were made to feel welcome and special. The management are very accommodating and genuinely go out of their way to help you. The... Great location, nice rooms, no parking in the hotel only the main road infront of the hotel and no wifi in the room. Otherwise hotel was clean and friendly staff at the reception. Reasonable price because we stayed in this hotel out of season.

I had visited other lakes in northern Italy and I decided to explore Lake Maggiore. Overall I was a little disappointed with it, as everything looks so old-fashioned (like the region has known its heyday in Victorian Age and has not improved much ever since then. Neighboring Lake Como, for instance, is much better). But I only stayed for two... More

On foreshore (Lake frontage rooms (magnificent) are a small extra cost). Easy walking from the train station. Although it is next to the coast road, the double glazed windows block out the sound when closed. Bed and pillow a bit harder than usual. Hotel has free Wi-Fi in the lobby; you have to ask (or check) hotspot has been turned... More

A truly welcoming visit with high standards of service. This place was close to all the central baveno facilities: both the boat and train station, food shops and promenade. Rooms were cosy with all facilities provided. The staff were so lovely and even made us a packed lunch for the morning after as we had to leave for the airport... More

A one-week, half-board package holiday with Inghams at Hotel Eden in the quiet lakeside town of Baveno. Watched over by Allessandra who is cheerful, always helpful and attentive, it is a peaceful, comfortable, no-fuss, relaxing family-run small hotel right on the lakeside and just a hundred metres from the boat station. Its worth it just for the picturesque view out... More
