Very good place. We really had good time. The room was clean and we enjoyed the lake view from the balcony. The staff was kind. We visited the town and the castle. We loved the most the archeological site of Terme di Catullo. Very good experience!

Hotel Mavino is a GOOD 3* hotel with very comfortable rooms, excellent reception hosts and an adequate continental breakfast. If driving you can only park long term about a 10 minute walk away. This is because traffic is not allowed to park in the old town; however if booked into the hotel you can report to the police outside the...

We enjoyed our stay at the Mavino, which must be one of the best-value hotels in Sirmione. It's a 5 minute level walk from the bus-stop or car park outside the castle gate but it's worth the effort to stay inside the old town. Once the day-trippers, of which there were many, had gone home, the hotel was in a...

We have just got home from our holiday staying at Hotel Mavino the rooms were very good small fridge ideal to keep drinks cold, good size bathroom, lovely little balcony, if you are lucky you can have a room overlooking the lake. The staff were a delight nothing was too much trouble, Christine who looks after you at breakfast was...

We travelled from Verona airport by taxi. We were dropped off outside the castle and the driver pointed through the gates and said 300 metres. No way is it 300 metres - be warned! The road splits as you pass through the town take the right hand split and the hotel is a bit further down on your left. Only...

What a lovely hotel! We had a great room (309) with a stunning lake view and modern bathroom. The staff were great in particular Veronica and our room was spotless. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 and is continental perfect to start the day. It's in a great location right in the middle of the action without having too...

We booked this hotel quite last minute, it's a sweet hotel right in the centre of the old part of Sirmione (inside the castle). The rooms are very clean with a small balcony. The staff were friendly and check in and out was simple. We also reserved parking which is outside the castle but you can get a pass from...

I visited Sirmione in August and I stayed at Mavino hotel. The hotel is new, nice rooms, great bathroom, a little bit small but it's quite common in Europe. The bed was comfortable and the room was extremely clean! Our room (306) had a lovely balcony with a lake perfect view. The staff was really kind and helped us with...

This was a great little find! What a location - a perfect base for exploring the town, other parts of the Lake and Verona. Staff were very friendly and spoke a good level of English. The rooms were small but that is only to be expected in such an old part of town. The decor was perfectly acceptable and the...
