We only spend one night in the hotel and unfortunately the restaurant was closed. This was however no problem because we dined in restaurant Torre del Compte, 20min further. The rooms were realy nice, with a spanish charm. The bathroom was clean and modern. The pool is nice as well, and you can order drinks during the day. The breakfast...

How anyone finds this place is beyond me but you have to go there and thanks to work we did! Basically in the middle of nowhere, very old village on a hill, converted convent. Bucket loads of character obviously. Tremendously helpful and enthusiastic staff - they cannot do enough with their limited English but that's part of the fun. Food...

Wholly heartedly recommend this hotel. An old convent, dating back to 1613 reconverted into a modern hotel!. The common spaces are a must, each and every corner has been suitably decorated and keeps and extraordinary charm. Everything is beautiful and very tasty. Fire places everywhere. The hotel is a family business and they and the rest of the service treat...

Hidden away in the Aragonese mountains in the small village of Freneda this 17th century convent has been lovingly and tastfully renovated into a mediaeval boutique hotel. We stayed in the new wing overlooking the gardens which was quiet and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the dinners and breakfasts that we had in the glazed two...

We are frequent visitors to this area but have never stayed at this hotel which run by four sisters and their father. It is full of character and charm and the building has been imaginatively and thoughtfully restored. We booked a Junior Suite for 3 nights in February. There was a sitting room with a small balcony (which we didn't...
