Was on a family holiday. Just beware that if you have big heavy suitcases, there are a few steps up to reception. There is a disabled chair lift just next to the steps and I asked the gentleman at reception if we could use that to bring our suitcase up. He refused and instead carried our suitcase up the steps....

We arrived in September 2016 at Lake Como by rental car. Hotel Plinius is located in a plaza, so once we had checked in, we were directed to an underground garage, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is little parking available around the Lake, so the garage was a safe place and reasonably priced. If you arrive by...

The hotel is in a ZTL zone in the Centro storico of Como. It is possible to drive your car to the hotel, unpack your bags and drive to a garage nearby where parking costs €16 per night. Your number plate will be sent to the police so you don't get fined. The hotel is close to piazzas and the...

Very modern, clean rooms. Great location within an easy walk of the main attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good choice at breakfast. Perfect for a night in Como! Would really recommend staying.

It was a great experience all round. Reception staff were very helpful but the gem was the lady in charge of breakfast who made a very good coffee (or two). No request was too difficult for her. The cleaning staff were very courteous also I would thoroughly recommend. Great location.

This small hotel is located a few minutes' walk from the lake and city centre, and just a minute away from a lovely piazza. The hotel is very clean, breakfast is good and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you Florentina for the daily coffee at breakfast!

This is a small hotel with limited amenities but it is perfectly placed just off one of the loveliest piazza's in Como. The room was small but opened out on to the main street below and the hotel is within easy walking distance of all the sights, bars and restaurants in Como. Pleasant staff, basic breakfast but friendly staff and...

We choose to stay in Como because we wanted to explore its historical center( the Duomo deserves several visits) , explore lake towns like Varenna, Bellagio, Tremezzo and even go to Milan for a day trip. Hotel Plinius location was perfect for all our plans , it is in a walking distance to San Giovani train station and a few...

Loved this cute hotel in como- close to all the shops and the lake. Staff members always greeted us each time and breakfast was great too- always offering us cappuccinos! The rooms are air conditioned with wifi and the staff were very happy to help us with transfers and taxis and any other information we needed.
