We have been lucky enough to spend a week at Alla Toretta. We booked 5 rooms and all parties were more than happy. The rooms are clean and spacious, great breakfast and the owner Corrado is an absolute gem. He picked us up and dropped us back to the ferry and nothing was ever a problem for him. The property...

This B&B is a family owned operation that includes a pizzeria beside the beautiful villa. The restaurant is run by the family is excellent and was filled with locals from the area. Rooms are spacious and clean with period furniture and original flooring. The owners are friendly and helpful. Breakfast even included a homemade tart made by the grandmother! The...

We were very surprised to find our room, no. 1, was very large with balcony, sitting room and family size shower room. The bed was very comfortable and the shutters kept out the light if you want to lie in. There is fresh fruit and sweets left for us each day, a lovely touch. Breakfast is continental style with fresh...

We booked this hotel based on availability, it was tough finding 2 double rooms elsewhere as we were 2 couples. As we read that it was a 10 min walk from the ferry ride, we carried 4 luggages and walked through the hotel. We arrived to the hotel 45 min later all tired and furious, but soon enough the owners...

I believe that my poor experience had a lot to do with the apartment we were allocated. The people were kind and the common area was fine. It's a budget hotel that is not in the center of the city. As we were three girls, we were given an apartment on the 3rd floor. It appeared to be a storage...

We stayed here in September with our 2 'children' aged 19 and 21. We wanted value for money over and above luxury. We paid 250 euros in total for the four of us for 2 nights which included a continental breakfast of toast, cheeses, boiled eggs, juice, hot drinks, rolls and delicious pastries. We were in the top of the villa in a...

This hotel is situated above Bellagio, which can be reached by a pleasant walk through fields and parkland. The price reflects its location. The owner, Corrado, is very helpful, arranging bus tickets and travel, as well as supplementing the excellent breakfast buffet. Restaurants are situated below the hotel and over the road. The one over the road has excellent food...

I stayed in The Alla Toretta for two nights in mid-September 2012. The hospitality of the couple (Corrado and Sara) who own this B&B is a big part in it's high rating. If you love historic buildings, antiques, welcoming hosts and a warm atmosphere totally unlike a hotel, then this is your place. Yes, it's outside Bellagio but this is factored into the price. As a couple in their 50s (reasonably fit), walking to and from Bellagio is not a problem. It gives you time to smell the roses, enjoy the cobblestone...
