We really enjoyed our stay and this B&B is upmarket and well located. Parking was not a problem at all, you just need to be sure that you stick to the owners advise. We travelled with our 2 year old and a 5 year old daughters and found the owner to be quite lovely and very friendly and thoughtful. We...

A lovely B&B, gorgeous old house (over 400 years old with four poster beds) where we met some lovely other guests in a great part of town. Sabrina was so nice as we got lost in the old streets but she was very patient. We only stayed for 1 night which was far too short, will definitely hope to return...

Sinora Silvia was an absolute gem in helping me find my feet after our family had an unfortunate incident and needed to go to a specialist hospital in Milan. After trying 3 other hotels, I found her and she did not disappoint. She offered to pick me up at the hospital and take me to the accomodation and offered good...

We had a wonderful 5-nights stay at Botton d'Oro. 3 colleagues and I shared the small apartment on the second floor during a congress at the Università. The B&B is comfortable, clean, cosy, well-situated, practical (we had a kitchenette)... The owner is absolutely charming, and she is incredibly helpful and thoughtful. The cleaning staff is also very nice. Bonus: the...

I booked the Botton d'Oro, but fell unexpectedly ill and had to cancel my already paid room after the regular cancellation time. They were very understanding and refunded me the payment without fees. Their customer service is very recommendable. Anna O., Austria

Unfortunately we were also overbooked in another place with old appartments without tv, wifi, gluten free breakfast, a view, nice decoration,... Even though we had written an e-mail in the morning that we were coming on the same day, we were not informed about "their mistake". Not very 'guest-friendly'. Overbookings are not 'mistakes' but it's a choice that the owner...

At arrival (6/9/2013), rooms were NOT those pictured on the internet and of a MUCH lower standard ! Were given choice to leave immediately without having to pay (and start looking for other rooms !) or accept a rebate. Did hardly sleep as a result of very loud street noises during most of the night. Bathroom was not en-suite as...

Several holidays in the Italian lakes had led to us passing through Bergamo and wishing we could spend more time there. This spring we did just that, staying at the Botton d'Oro.We had an apartment in that part of the property which is in the upper city. To maximise our time there, we had booked an airport shuttle there and...

Our very big and comfortable room in this BnB, located in an ancient historic building in the main shopping street of Citta Alta Bergamo, was on the same floor as the breakfast room. The beautiful bathroom is outside of the room, yet for private use. If you are looking for authentic accommodation in the centre of Citta Alta - this...

The room was fine, not overpriced, and the city lovely. Unfortunately, the only directions given were coordinates, and without Internet signal in the city it took an hour to find. Furthermore, no explanation of parking was given and we were lied to about rules, resulting in a ticket. The most unfavorable part was that they refused to apologize to us...
