What a phenomenal location, right in the heart of Santa Margherita Ligure, with fantastic views!! The rooms are spacious, although very dated. The staff was very friendly, however, the air conditioning is awful. We stayed during the heat wave and the room never really cooled off, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Breakfast is wonderful, with a variety of selections. Overall, a great stay!!

The room was very dated from a decor standpoint, but clean. Staff was very friendly (made the stay!) and contacted us, via phone and email, about a forgotten item, which we most appreciated! Great location, average breakfast. This is a touristy area in summer, and very expensive, so this is a good option for a basic stay at a reasonable price ($275 per night approximately).

This is a lovely old classic Italian Hotel in the number one position in town, right in front of the beach. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious with the view from the balcony amazing, the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by. We stayed in room 402 where the bedroom was located at the back of the hotel, which was really peaceful at night. My only negative was the lack of tea and coffee in the room, but I’m sure this could be easily addressed. Breakfast was very good, with a large of choice of everything you’d expect, the cappuccino’s were particularly good.

This is ideally situated. Opposite the beach and close to shops and lots of restaurants. Kitchenette only available for stays longer than 10 nights. No parking at hotel. Can go to a garage and pay €50 for 3 nights. Room was spacious and air conditioners in both lounge and bedroom. Very good breakfast. Separate bar/restaurant downstairs. Staff very nice. Would go back again.

We stayed at the Lido Palace for the past couple of days. The location of this hotel is perfect. Just in the center of the waterfront, it was incredibly close to everything. We would spend the entire day in the water, or on various excursions and then wanted to collapse in the hotel after dinner. Unfortunately, we visited in the middle of a heat wave and the air conditioning felt like it was barely working. That, combined with the humidity, made for a pretty uncomfortable night’s sleep. Additionally, they said they had free WiFi. And we were able to connect to the internet. But the WiFi was so slow, it was basically unusable. I’m afraid I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are visiting during warm summer months or if you HAVE to have internet access.
