We arrived to what looked externally like a great hotel - we were shown to our room - which was round the back and entered the lift and were taken down to the basement - everything was black and white with very sharp edges and strip lighting around all the doors kind of like back stage in a theatre. Felt very strange but kept an open mind until we saw the room. Tiny, dirty bathroom, the terrace was overlooked on all sides, there was a strange garage door type thing over the first part of the terrace and the jacuzzi was completely out in the open for all the neighbouring flats to see. We stayed for one night and then left - the staff were apparently used to such short stays and complaints - we in fact saw another guest complaining about their basement room. This was not a cheap hotel and absolutely not a 5 star. It's attempts at modern decor were an eyesore. On the plus side, the breakfast was delicious and the staff offered to change our room - it felt like they were very used to receiving complaints. I would not recommend staying here.

For a five star hotel and for that price I was quite disappointed. We found our previous guests’ opened wine bottle and empty can of nuts in our minibar (this CANNOT happen in times of Corona!) and then they just picked it up, but didn’t replace anything. Then our toilet paper wasn’t replaced and when we asked at the reception they just handed us over some toilet rolls and we had to go back with them through the lobby with other guests - quite embarrassing! To be fair though, we told them not to go in the room, because our dog was there, but they could have at least placed the toilet rolls in a plastic bag. I also found it quite an audacity that every guest has to pay €25 to access the pool! They know exactly how full the beaches are and that some guests would like to make use of the pool, but to ask €25 from HOTEL GUESTS?! Another thing I found unacceptable is that we got powder coffee for breakfast - it was the worst coffee I ever had at a hotel and that in Italy! Lastly I do have to praise the staff at breakfast and the bar. They always remembered our room number and were always helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for one night in this very hip and newly renovated hotel. The decor was gorgeous, the room was enormous with a gorgeous view down the lanes. It was extremely close to everything Santa Margherita had to offer and the breakfast was great. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. It was ideally located just down the hill from the train station and we were able to keep out bags there for the day after we checked out. We would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This newly renovated hotel/spa is just a block off the main drag. No water views, but close to great restaurants and the beach. The rooms are modern and kind of "hip" with fun lighting and a sleek vibe. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. They have a small outdoor patio in front where you can enjoy a drink or just read. The spa is separate and use of the facilities in not included in the price of the room.. The spa usage is per person-not by room so it is pretty pricey to enjoy the pool or any of the spa amenities. Just keep that in mind when you look at the cost. We were not there for the spa so it was not an issue. Loved that we could walk to all the lovely sights and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were vey attentive, we had an issue with our TV and they fixed it immediately, we needed some extra supplies for the bathroom and they were sent them to us within seconds. It's a definite 10/10 for location as they are located right near to the town as well as the train station. The hotel itself is lovely and there is a good choice at breakfast. I hope we're back in Santa Margherita one day, so we can stay there again.
