A great location to discover the Cinque Terre. Good hiking distance to Riomaggiore and also to head into the delightful town of Porto Venere. Accommodation is very good with stunning sea views and the hospitality and customer care is simply excellent. The only downside is that at the time we visited (Late Sept / early Oct) the local restaurant had... More

I slept on the 25th and 26th September 2015 by paying € 80,00 per night for a double single use + city tax € 3,00 per night. Self service breakfast was included and consisted of: coffee machine, pre-packed pastries, ham , cheese and a fresh cake brought by an employe at approximately 8:00 a.m. There was an external table in... This hotel is situated as others have said in a little town that you get to on a very windy road. If you have rented a car with manual shift and are comfortable and careful, going to and from is fine. We drove back to the hotel on our 3rd night in heavy rain and I would not have wanted... More

Hotel is located in a nice picturesque village quite far away from the nearest city La Spezia but more importantly from the nearest beach. I was expecting that beach would be close to the hotel but unfortunately you have to walk like 1 hour to reach it down the hill.....and then come up again which is the most difficult part.... More

The 'room was nicely decorated and the view was amazing, when booking we thought that the see was nearer. Nevertheless, we had some issues arriving on time and we called the number listed on our booking a lady picked up speaking only Italian and hung up the phone to me with out trying to assist, called again and no one... Pros Location is amazing, views (from the blue room) were breathtaking. It is a very simple, sleepy village, great if you want to get away from it all. The Locanda is mostly unmanned so you need to time your arrival, or let them know what time you will be getting here, and the caretaker will let you in. Caretakers are... More

Booked this place for 3 nights as a part of a three week holiday in Italy based on TripAdvisor reviews. We have stayed at dozens of B&B's in Europe and have never had to deal with such terrible noise at night- even in large cities. First of all, it is very difficult to get to the Cinque Terre from this... More

I am the owner of Locanda Tramonti and happy to reply to Mr. "RG". I too, given the age I attended B & B in Italy and abroad, and for this I made an inn and not a B & B. In the B & B of the law is required to be present, indeed residence of the operator. The... More

The hotel is beautiful and located in a small village with amazing view of the sea. Our room was perfect for a couple; balcony, white curtains, modern bathroom...Complementary mineral water and yoghurts/juice from fridge a nice touch. The village is charming, but the community congregates on the square in front of our balcony and I would imagine that it could... More

This little hotel looks to be balanced precariously over the most stunning view of the sea. High atop La Spezia's bustling harbour is tranquil Campiglia, population 113. To get to this hotel, you have is a twisty, climbing drive up the hillside. A drive not for the fainthearted. We took the train to La Spezia and so had to cab... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Tramonti Locanda is a small, charme hotel created in a villa dating from the eighteen hundreds. Situated in the little piazza in front of the Campiglia church, thanks to its rather particular location, it enjoys a splendid view over two seas: the gulf of la Spezia and the open sea of the Cinque Terre villages. From the Locanda, it is possible to go for wonderful walks, immersed in the silence and the intense fragrances of the typical Mediterranean maquis vegetation, right down to the clear, turquoise waters of the Persico and Navone beaches or, following the "crinale" (ridge) pathway, to the towns of Portovenere and Riomaggiore. The Locanda has a suite with solarium sun-bathing area and double bedrooms with terraces and balconies from which, on clear days, it is possible to identify on the horizon the profiles of the islands of Corsica, Capraia, Gorgona and Elba, as well as the Côte d'Azur. ... more   less
