You get what you pay for!! The best thing about this hotel is it's across the road from the train station. It is very basic, no facilities in room, no kitchen in hotel, its not very clean and the bed was old and uncomfortable, we actually had a room that had its own toilet/shower and the shower was great but...

We chose this hotel just for being in front of the train station as our departure the next day was very early at 6.30 It is a cheap kind of hotel, little bit depressing, broken courtains, old fashioned blankets, not super clean... But at least it had a good hot shower. I always think in the price before rating a...

Fine for a solo traveller with late arrival or early departure from the train station. The place was cheap and I didn't have to share a room or bathroom. Right across from the train station and close to restaurants and shops. And I had a balcony where I could dry my clothes. The room is a bit dingy. The toilet...

This hostel is just close to La Special Centrale Train Station. The rooms are enough for one person and has a nice balcony. The shared bathroom is only one per floor so it is a matter of lucky not to wait in a queue. Also there is no kitchen or restaurant so you must have to eat out. Wifi is...

Only plus at this place, is that it is very close to the main train station in La Spezia. It's far to pricey for what you actually get... We got a very old room on 3rd floor (no lift), it was a couple of cold nights, as the heating didn't work. Wifi was average. But for 53 Euro per night,...

Found this place in a very last minute panic on booking.com without checking reviews on here first. Massive mistake. Our room was on the third floor, and walking up to it was like something out of a horror film. Our room was neat but dirty. wifi worked intermittently, and no remote to turn on the tv provided. All this could...

The hotel is pretty much on the other side of the road of La Spezia's train station which makes it theoretically a great home base to explore Cinqueterre. Unfortunately, the window in my room was broken and did not close properly. Usually this wouldn't be such a big problem - I sleep with open windows all the time -, but...

Filthy room, broken bed, collapsed mattress, there's a dirty bidet next to a dirty sink right next to the bed. It's jaw dropping. Bit like a squat without the charm, type of place that might doing hourly rates. Shared toilet and shower are revolting. I'm not happy that my dogs having to stay. Not fit for purpose Oh dear, bad...

The location is amazing ... you literally walk to the bottom of the train station steps There is no aircon so is hot during summer. The room I stayed in was small but I was solo so it was all I needed and had a sink too which was fab The staff are super, happy and friendly :)

We stayed here as a base to explore Cinque Terre. Hotel aurora is ideally located- right across from the train station and close to many local shops and restaurants. The room was basic but exactly what we needed for a budget stay. The rooms were hot and a bit noisy but nothing you can't deal with- there was also a...
