Stayed here for 5 days with my girlfriend and a dog. They have accepted medium to large size dog, without any restrictions and offered a bigger room as free upgrade. Very friendly staff. Very good value for money. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel of this category.
The hotel is well located it is indeed about 10 minutes walk between the station and the hotel and a similar distance to the harbour. The hotel is located in a fairly quiet street. The hotel is not especially expensive for the area and this is reflected in the fact that the rooms and particular bathrooms are quite small. However they are comfortable and well kept and have everything you need, in fact my room also had a balcony overlooking the side-street which was nice. The Wifi is free and worked fine in the room. The breakfast is also very good and I think is served from 7am to 10am in a room on the ground floor. There is a very good choice of both savoury and sweet food and the staff serve tea or coffee. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The only negative I had is that it can be quite noisy inside, and this is why I have rated 4 rather than 5. The rooms and corridors do not have carpets, so you hear everyone walking past, talking, slamming doors etc very clearly and the walls are also very thin so you can here the people in the neighbouring rooms quite easily too. Thankfully the people in the rooms either side of mine were not too noisy through the night but it was quite noisy for a while in the evening. Also took me a while to find the light switch in the corridors, as the lights turn off after a few seconds. Overall however this is a pretty good choice for the money I think.…
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect home base for our explorations up to Cinque Terre as it is centrally located and walking distance to the train station. The hotel itself is basic but met all of our needs. Sarah, one of the front desk managers, went above and beyond for us, making recommendations and ensuring our stay was comfortable. Would recommend the hotel to friends and stay again if we are ever in the area again.
As said in the property description, the hotel's location is very central and was the main reason for us to stay here. The property itself was adequate given that we were spending our days outside touring. It's not luxurious by any stretch and the runner on the stairs was detached making it a serious hazard. (Hence the 3 star rating) The hostess, Sara, and the absolutely delicious morning breakfast are what would bring me back to this location. Sara was so kind and helpful, answering all of our questions and making us espressi or cappuccini each morning. One thing I was very grateful for was that our train departed early in the morning and she had taken the time to prepare lunches for my dad and I to take on our trip. Grazie mille, Sara!
The hotel is a good choice for the travellers who are planning to visit the Cinque Terre. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and large. The breakfast is awesome. The employees are the owners of the hotel. They are very friendly and helpful.
