Stayed a couple of nights in November. Decided to go for this hotel as it is close to the train station at a very reasonable price. Thankfully there is a lift from the street up to reception where we were met by a very friendly, polite gentleman who checked us in quickly even though we were early. Room not made...

Stayed at this hotel for two days after our cruise. After spending 12 days on a cruise with extremely rude Italian fellow passengers it was nice to meet a pleasant exceptionally helpful gentleman on reception. We stayed for a week at the end of September and never quite fathomed out the hotel's layout - but that's all part of its quirky charm. The hotel is situated next to Piazza Principe, a convenient and quiet location within a walking distance of the Porto Antico (old port). The hotel has a small elevator that takes you from the street level to the building. Then there is another tiny elevator to take you to the room floor. Only 2 people with luggage will fit! Great stay for 2 nights for examine Genova.Service was good on this family owned hotel.Only 100 meters from Genova station.The room with AC was great for this price. Breakfast was OK,not more.We have a room at the back so we avoid all sounds from the street.

The hotel has a very good position, 5 minutes to walk from Railway station and not far away to walk to downtown or to explore the important places to see in Genoa. The rooms are old dated but clean. The location of this hotel is good if you come by train. The hotel fare was not reasonable because I should pay more without breakfast. Wifi didnt work in the thirth floor. There was two very kind old men but the young man with glasses was arrogant.

One angry worker ruin everything here he was very unfriendly, unpolite, angry and arrogant all the time. All other workers were more friendly and polite but he couldn't behave at all. I guess he hate foreigner women because of his behavior. He was calling to the room everyday many times without any real reason he just wanted to wakeup early...
