I especially loved the old elevator, but everything in this hotel is old and you feel like you travelled in time! Very unique! The room was comfortable and clean, there was a hot water cooker and tea/coffee and a minibar, breakfast was delicious and a good variety of different foods and the staff was polite and helpful. Unfortunately it is quite loud because of the proximity to the main train station and also the rooms aren’t soundproof (which I can understand though, considering the old building is probably under monument protection), but bring some earplugs along and you’ll be just fine!

We really enjoyed staying here, the staff was very friendly and professional, the location is great since it takes no more than 3 minutes to the train station and the hotel itself was beautifully designed with old furniture, tasteful vases and decorations and the elevator was a delight! We would recommend it to anyone! And they are dogfriendly 🐶

Got moved to their sister 5* hotel, not sure if this hotel is having a make over. Got upgraded to a suit, which was nice. This hotel has a classic decor and not so modern, but clean and nice. Free bottle of water daily, small size though.

What a fantastic one night stay. There isn't anything we didn't like. From the check-in to checkout you are just well looked after with their sister hotel next door. We spent a lot of time and money at the bar next door, we planned to go into Genoa for a meal but stayed at the hotel Savoia for drinks. The bed was gorgeous and ever so comfortable. The mini bar was cheap, the view we had was across from the train station was beautiful, watching people come and go. The bathroom was immaculate and a fantastic shower! Breakfast was an intimate affair and a window table was perfect. Thanks to all the staff and management of both the Continental and the Hotel Savoia not forgetting Josep helping on the bar as well as being busy with other tasks. If you don't stay here, you're crazy! We had a cruise package, which included executive room, breakfast, free drink and a taxi to the port.
