Two couples stayed six nights in this very comfortable hotel. Close to the railway station and bus stops. Cyclists were using this hotel to begin their escorted treck across Italy. We both had good rooms. Very comfortable beds. We had a modern shower and the other couple had a bath. We were both very happy with the rooms. The buffet... More

Located on a residential street, this hotel is about one walkable block from the bus stop, the train station and the promenade that takes you along the seaside to the old port of Nervi. Very easy parking. Enjoy the lobby bar for a drink or sit out in the garden for a drink before dinner. The staff was friendly and... More

After a long drive, with traffic jams through the tunnels of Genova, we were very late looking for a room for the night. We chanced upon the Astor, and weren't we lucky? It is a very smart hotel, the receptionist was both helpful and amusing, and our room very well-equipped and comfortable. The meal at the hotel was good, and... More

We had two nights here on our way from Nice to the Cinque Terre. Nervi is not very nice but the hotel is really close to the railway station - can't hear the trains though. There is a costal path - Passagiata Anita Garibaldi - which, if you go right, takes you to the harbour where there are a few... More

Well located near restaurants and shops as well as just a few steps from the train station and sea this hotel has unfortunately not been updated with old fittings and furnishings. The rooms are also very small. Some rooms have balconys, others do not. Breakfast is very limited with no eggs included. Hotel staff were very friendly and helped how... More

We have stayed here for the last three summers, each time between 2 and 3 weeks. The fact that we continue to return says something about this hotel! It is a quiet hotel in a great location, about a 2-minute walk to the train station as well as to the Passagiata, and in the other direction, to the high street... More

It is a very good hotel. Breakfast was great and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The place is perfect for relaxation and the view from the balcony was excellent. Location is near the beach and everything else.

My thanks to Diane and Tony, two fellow travellers who I met at Genoa Airport as a result of our flight to the UK being cancelled, for recommending this gem of a hotel to me. The Hotel Astor is located to the east of Genoa Airport, in a small suburb of Genoa called Nervi, approximately a 40 minute train ride.... More

Stayed 2 nights on Friday Sep. 19th and Saturday Sep. 20th. Have been here 3 times before in the late 70s and early 80s and I loved it then as much as I loved it this time. Great, mostly peaceful and relaxin location (it gets a bit noisy at times in the evenings as the square is a meeting point... More

Stayed here for 2 nights purely by accident, and what a find. You could feel the stress leaving your body almost the moment you entered the building. Gracious and efficient receptionist made the checking in (and later out) a charm. Located less than a 5 minute walk to the sea front promenade (and Train station for the Cinque Terre) yet... More
