This old fashioned hotel deserves a visit. Excellent location: you can go walking everywhere. Nice old style building. Room was clean and well-equipped. Bathroom was modern and refurbished. Reception staff were helpful.

I am a travel agent who chose this hotel 31 years ago when I took my 85 year old father to see where his father grew-up. It was perfect then and was perfect last week when I returned. I enjoy a very "old-style" European hotel and the Bristol Palace is exactly that! My very clean room was beautifully appointed with...

The Hotel is in a very good location of everything you need for shopping. There are nice and cheap Restaurants around in walking distance so you safe some money on the pricy menu at the hotel. The rooms in retro style are clean and nead. The Shower is small and the Toilet is in a very corner on the other...

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for leaving your overall positive review on tripadvisor. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the absolutely central position of Bristol Palace. We are sorry that you did not appreciate every detail of the room assigned to you, if you had told us we would have maybe been able to show...

The good stuff:- Location is great. All the main shops, restaurants, sight seeing, tours etc are nearby The bad stuff:- Hotel is shabby and old. Reception staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. Breakfast is mediocre and people sit in your seat whilst you've gone to pick up breakfast (bags and coats left on table) and these seat thieves aren't asked...

Clean, comfortable and quiet room, very nice bed and bathroom. In the middle of the best shopping street, near to the opera house and ducal palace, and close to Genova Brignole railway station. Very good value at weekends. Genoa is interesting, with an interesting mix of styles, and some great restaurants, especially in the slightly seedy port area.

The rooms have very thin walls - especially if you have an adjoining door, may as well be in with your neighbours. No attention paid to booking requests for a twin room, top floor etc and the baths can't be used as no plugs - bad as shower sprays every thing so don't take clothes in! Breakfast is average. Finally...

Hotel Bristol Palace was the perfect choice for my first visit to Genoa. Centrally and conveniently located I could easily walk to the historic center and port as well explore nearby neighborhoods. The Hotel Bristol Palace is In a busy street and an entrance that was easy to walk past. Once inside it was comfortable and tranquil. Good bar on the ground floor, good restaurant at reasonable prices. The staff were all very helpful and made us feel welcome,

Dear Ed, Thank you so much for your kind words. In fact Bristol Palace is in a historical building, and it is not possible for us, but neither would it suit the building, to be highlighted as modern hotels sometimes are. It is an elegance that is more understated and subtle, and we are very glad that you had the...

Nice hotel in the heart of Genova. Breakfast was lovely. Pity the room was dated & beds were not very comfortable. Didn't get much sleep the first night but second night was slightly better. I would've expected better quality mattresses & pillows for a 4 star hotel
