My wife and I stayed in Vernazza during our summer trip to Italy. With no room booked for the visit to Cinque Terra we thought we'd just wing it and see what was available when we got off the boat. Having checked a couple of other rooms, we were getting concerned that we wouldn't find something suitable but we were... More

Vernazza was our favorite place to visit in Italy! The layout of this tiny village with it's winding alleys and stairs in and through the buildings was absolutely charming. Coming in with suitcases is not for the faint of heart, but a delightful young woman who worked for the Bianchi's helped us and would not let us pay her for... More

We stayed in San Francisco room 1 with a balcony looking out over the main street and glimpses of the tower and sea beyond. Finding rooms in Vernazza is hard work as you have to contact many places as most owners just have a handful of rooms available and prices/availability are usually not advertised. This place fitted our budget (paid... More

We ended up here by accident as our previously confirmed room fell through. Davide was very nice showing us to his rooms and getting us settled in. Our room was small but it had a very comfortable bed. There was a small patio with table and chairs that had a great view of the sea. You could hear the people... More

We stayed in the Sunflower room (I think that's what it was called). Chiara/Daria were very responsive in email prior to our arrival. David met us at the train station, which is right near the rooms and showed us in. However, it was hard to figure out when check out was and how to meet up to pay them while... More

Arrived on Monday April 25th, 2016 for two nights. Place booked by friend from Italy. Had top floor facing the street. Room with Balcony, refrigerator and small kitchen. Very clean place. This place is very close to the train tracks and you can here the trains go by but that does not defray from the overall value. Food....everywhere.....bakery, numerous restaurants,... More

The staff was great to deal with via email before my trip and phone when I arrived. I was met at the train and my bag was carried up the many steep steps to the room. The room was a basic room with a bath, closet, and double bed. Price was reasonable and the location was far enough away from... More

As previous posters have mentioned, this property is near the train station and has many steps. We stayed in San Francesco 4 and I counted the steps one day from the main street- 167 steps up and then 9 steps down to get to our room. I loved climbing those steps and seeing the locals each morning. I am a... More

Nice room, with lot of space considering Italian hotel standards, well situated and with a view on Via Roma (for our room). Near the train station so if you go during a season where you want to sleep with the windows opened, it might not be a good idea, but with the windows closed, we don't hear the train much... More

The wife and I have made Vernazza Rooms our place to stay in two separate trips. Each trip (3.5 year apart) was in different rooms. The rooms are clean, event sized, and the owners are very accommodating in meeting you at the train station. The ONLY thing I could say is....if you can't do stairs, Vernazza itself might not be...
