The Franca Maria room was decent size for what to expect it Italy. Check in was okay - quick and to the point. You must pay the total bill in Euros at check in.

Vernazza is a lovely and lively village. The room we stayed was on a very narrow street and on top of some number of steps somewhere between the train station and the seafront. Thanks Giovanni for his help with the luggage. No problems in Check-in....More
What a gorgeous and friendly little town! Simply enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable with an updated bathroom and a small kitchen. The location right on the town square near the water was absolutely perfect. I would recommend staying for at least three nights...More
Francamaria Rooms is located in several different buildings in the shorefront area of Vernazza. The individual who checked us in and spoke a little bit of English, but was very straightforward, not very pleasant, and to the point.

I truly cannot recommend this place to anyone staying in Vernazza. We got the recommendation from the Rick Steves Italy book, and this was the only recommendation from the entire book we did not enjoy. The owner/reception office is in an entirely different building, so...More

Thanks for the reply. We decided to stay in Spezia, sorry do not want to send all credit card info over email, and the Giai room -only a room facing an alley with some not so great reviews for 110 Euro per night, all in all, not worth it when a train from Spezia gets you there in 30 minutes or less. Might have been okay, but I decided not to take the chance. Should have a secure website for credit card info.

I can ony speak to Da Dele as we just stayed there this past October. It is right in the plaza on the second floor. You do have a view but ony if you're sitting at the table; the view isn't prevalent from everywhere in the flat. We loved it as the location was perfect and the flat itself had everything we needed. If you're looking for more of a view from all angles, then you should look further up the hill outside of the main plaza.
