I would like to say that maybe the biggest selling point of this hotel is the view. The view is breathtaking. It's not located inside the cities by the sea, but its located further up in the mountain. You get away from the tourist noise, and you have a better view than the hotels located in the cities. I highly...

This hotel is in an amazing location. Up in the mountain, next to vineyards, olive trees, lemon trees, looking out over the sea - a peaceful retreat. The rooms are clean and tidy but quite basic amenities - no coffee/tea making facilities, no fridge or safe. TV wasn;t working for the first few days - when we really wanted to...

Excellent views. Very good breakfast. Nice staff. Very convenient for those willing to visit Manarola, Monterosso and the other Cinque Terre towns. The views from the terrace and the rooms are outstanding.

The location was just what we were looking for; not in one of the busy Cinque Terre towns, but still on the trail. It was nice to have a quite place to return to after hiking to the other busier towns. Wonderful breakfast, very comfortable rooms with a/c, and amazing views!! The pictures do not to it justice. We had...

This is one of the time when reallity is even better than pictures! Stunning 180 degrees view over 5 terre, and just on the 5 terre trail. The service was excelent, as they met us and helped us with parking the car and with the luggage. Then they where also helpful with planning the 5 terre walk/trip. Very flexible as...

This hotel was great BUT......nothing mentioning a bus to Volastra on their website or Expedia or TripAdvisor. This really needs to be stressed. Otherwise you end up pushing 100 lbs of luggage up a 20* incline and having a bad morning. Aside from this avoidable issue, which I don't mind taking some of the blame for, this was a great...

The owners went above and beyond helping me after I needed an emergency room visit. They kindly drove me to the doctor and pharmacy the next day, helped repurchase train tickets due to a strike, and woke up at 5:30 AM to give us a ride to the train station. PROS: Quiet, view (ask for a room with a view),...

HORRIBLE!! We departed after 18 hours! NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!! Warning!! The story goes like this: we arrived July 2nd at 8pm. After 900 kilometers a cold beer? The bar is closed the guy at the reception said. Ok, a bottle of drinking water in the room? There was none! Minibar? There is none. Where is the balcony? You should have...

We stayed here for 4 nights while hiking the Cinque Terre. I had thought this hotel was located in Riomaggiore as it was part of the address but it's actually located in Volastra, that being said it was wonderful and I would highly recommend. We had room 8 with a balcony and the views from the room and the terrace...

This hotel is just the best. We are coming back to this place for years now and are never disappointed. The hotel is placed at the edge of the mountain with a view to die for. It is clean and the breakfast is wonderful. The service from the whole team is excellent and they are so helpful. Thank you so...
