The room was clean and perfect for our trip. Sleeps 3 comfortably. Very basic room but all worked well. The bathroom is large with great water pressure (important after hiking). Great air-conditioning and wifi. The room is a few minutes walk to the train station. There are restaurants and bars nearby as is the tourist boat.

It was terrible service , if you don't want to waste your money, you should avoid this hotel. They didn't give proper information and then charged. Although they have a problem, they don't apologize. Very disappointed.

Everything was great! The room was clean and cozy. This hotel is located near the main road where you can find any cafes and bars also it takes less than 10 minutes to get to the train station. Special thanks to Roberto. He was very nice to us, he met us, helped with our bags, gave us a lot of... More

Mr. Marco was extremely helpful when we had trouble with our reservation. We are so grateful for his kindness and thoughtfulness. We look foreward to staying in La Casa di Venere on our next opportunity. -Laura

I reserved a room here from 7th - 9th September 2015 through Expedia. I presumed this meant I had a room saved for me. However, when i arrived I was told the owner had let my room go. He said he had tried to contact me through Expedia but I received no message from them. I was left very frightened... More

Management response:

Unfortunately our guest has booked as early as a year before and even though she was contacted several times, through email, phone, and even through the booking engine she used to carry out her booking, since approximately a week before her arrival date, she never responded to any of them. Not even when the booking site (Expedia) tried to contact... More

this place was so cheap and so perfect i could not suggest it enough. It was so incredibly clean and well kept together i was blown away. I was expecting a beaten down old hostel of some sorts (the buildings don't look too nice from the outside) but it was so great, so clean, and HAD AIR CONDITIONING....do not ever... More

Cheap and nice room. AC, nice bed and good bathroom. It's got what you need to clean up between wine and sightseeing. Easy access thru the charming and narrow streets, but no view from the windows. Lovely helpful staff, and charming "reception" in the towns eco-food shop.

Awful! Please do not stay at this hostel. My friend and I emailed the hostel in advance asking for directions, as there were none on the website, and we never received a response. The hostel was quite difficult to find. Once we arrived there was no one at the hostel. Simply a note stating "check in call this number". We... More

My friend and I stayed at La Casa di Venere for one night while visiting the Cinque Terre. It was very basic, but very accommodating. The room was spacious, and the bathroom clean. The air conditioner helped us stay cool during the day, and the window open kept us cool overnight. There is no wi-fi at this hotel, but many... More

Found the property with helpful advice from a fruit shop owner at the bottom of the hill. Elena came with 10 minutes of our call. Room was small for a family with two grown children, but workable. Couldn't get the air conditioning to work or all the lights, either. Heavy blankets on a hot night with no top sheet for... More
