This was a 1 star room (if that). The ceiling tiles were falling and felt like a hostle. Was not worth the $500 price for 2 nights (for 2 people). The reception area was a big mess and the breakfast location felt like a closet where people could barely sit and get a coffee. Stairwell leading up 4 flights was...

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice but with no lift and narrow stairs to the second floor it was definitely a challenge - but doable if you are strong and fit. The room had safe (if you gave a $10 deposit for the key), TV, fridge and kettle. The bathroom was small but very...

The staff was amazing! They helped us with anything we asked for. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Absolutely recommend to stay here if you are going to Cinque Terre. The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and loved every bit of our stay,

Friendly welcome in the reception. Steep and a bit stenchy stairway leading to our room. The room was acceptably clean and breakfast was fine. Just enough for our needs but a bit pricey in my opinion. If you come hiking from Manarola you don't have to climb all the way down to harbour - the Locanda is perfectly situated uphill...

Great place to stay in Riomaggiore. It was a cute room that was very clean and up to date. It had a very nice shower/bathroom. Great location, but be prepared to walk up a the steep hill the entire town is laid out on. The breakfast was great, and very friendly staff

First, we had booked a room with two beds, and got a double and one single bed. We tried to change it to something smaller, but were told that wasn't possible since it had been booked a month ago, even though several rooms were available on line at half the price. Besides that, every sound in the building, water pipes,...

On A self drive holiday in Italy, parking an issue but hotel did provide relevant info about parking building and the Free blue spaces which made it easy. Hotel comfortable, balcony a bonus as rooms very small and bathrooms a challenge to manouever in. Perfectly ok for a short stay.

If you are visiting the Cinque Terra, I highly recommend Riomaggiore to stay. While there isn't maybe the greatest accommodation in town, there isn't much along the trail and Riomaggiore had some great restaurants for evening dining. The Duxi is situated in the heart of the city and a great spot. The rooms were clean, the internet worked ok and...

We enjoyed our staying at this hotel. Small but it had everything we needed. The stairs, we got used to and actually we enjoyed since it was like a nice workout after eating all the pasta di mari and gellatos(sp). If you don't like stairs, request a room at the bottom. We were right on top and we enjoyed the...

I enjoyed my stay in Riomaggiore and was placed in a room in the heart of town. My room was pleasant, cosy and the perfect base to explore Cinque Terre. I was slightly disappointed by the rooms overall cleanliness. The sheets were clean but had other people's hair in the sheets. I noticed the room needed a good vacuum as...

“It's hard to know how to recommend a room because they broker rooms all over the center of town. Our's was #43 but the number was written on paper and taped to the door. Again, it seems this is the world of room brokering.”
