Il Vigneto is a slim, tall building with less than two metres to the neighbors on the front and back. Interior stairs are steep and with baggage directly dangerous. The rooms are small and have no AC. With open window you hear neighbor's TV and other talk and dogs barking. The private parking lot, under the olive trees, is located... More

Great location. The small village of Volastra is the crossi,g of many hiking trails in Cinque Terre. Only 2 restaurants, but so friendly people and excellent food, pure with great attention for the product. The b&b Il Vigneto is excellent place to explore Cinque Terre. Very friendly service, clean rooms, great location for a very acceptable price (75€ for double... More

Perfect location above Manarola. Comfortable room and very clean, The view from the terrace is perfect. We walked to Cornelia one day and Manarola the next. The scenery is stunning on both walks. The family and staff very friendly and the little town of Volastra is definitely special.

We stayed 7 nights at il vigneto, its one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed in. Our room was beautiful, with a stunning view from our windows, it was spacious and kept spotlessly clean. Donnatella prepared a lovely breakfast each morning, with fresh breads, fruit preserves, local honey, good strong Italian coffee"buonissimo",fruit juice and cornflakes"we miss you already". The owners are really friendly... More

Stayed here with four nights to see around cinque terre. Room very nice and great sea view. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was beautiful and on the last night of our stay the B and B owner had a wine tasting with snacks for us in his own production cellar, which was a nice extra. Very friendly and... More

We struggled to find a decent b&b online away from the tourist crush of the five villages that make up the so called Cinque Terre. We found this place through air bnb and went for it - we chose wisely! Volastra is in fact the village where this b&b is located sat 350 metres above the coastal village of manorola.... More

We tried to book at the Bnb but it was full so they proposed us to rent the apartment just down the road from the BnB in Volastra. it was really good quality for money (75euros), really spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend it. Just 2 little things: no WIFI in the apartment , you have to go to... More

We stayed four nights total. Very clean accommodations and friendly service. Donatella, who's very friendly and helpful, prepares a simple breakfast every morning that you can have outside on the beautiful terrace. Accommodations are spacious by European standards. This place is actually in Volastra which is a sleepy and quiet town that sits up above Manarola and is a great... More

Walking path no 2 between Levanto and Porto Venere we booked this b&b half way at Volastra and it showed to be a fine choise. No 2 was a very nice room with beautiful view downhill Cinque Terre to the sea. We had a good shower and found the restaurants and minimarket closed for the rest of the afternoon, so... More

In view of our three day visit at cinqueterre we were looking for accommodation preferably away from the crowded towns. At Volastra we have found 'il Vigneto' very convenient ..minutes away from Manarola where we also could park our car at the private parking lot. This accommodation is well located with a fantastic view above Manarola. We had our daily... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Il Vigneto" is a family-run Bed & Breakfast activity, in the middle of the ancient village of Volastra (from the latin Vicus Oleaster, which means the place of olive trees). Volastra is one of the most authentic realities in the heart of the National Park of the Cinque Terre, where terraces built with dry stone walling cleverly made without any cement, give place to the cultivation of vineyards and olive trees. Volastra besides offering an extraordinary natural landscape with hills sloping down to the sea, is the most important crossway of paths of the Cinque Terre. In fact, from Volastra you may hike many paths with various levels of difficulty surrounded by a spectacular nature. All the paths are duly signed with red and white strips. In a few minutes from Volastra you may reach Manarola thanks to a good shuttle bus service. The cost of the bus is included in the daily ticket to visit the National Park. Once you are in Manarola you may use trains and boats to visit the other four villages. "Il Vigneto" of very recent restructuring offers double, triple and quadruple rooms, each one with its own bathroom, TV sat, high speed internet connection, small fridge, heating and a few with sea view. Breakfast is served in the dining room while during the good season it is served on a wide panoramic terrace with an amazing sea view. From the terrace, that may be used by our guests, you may admire the sea surrounded by hills cultivated with olive trees and vineyard. ... more   less
