We liked the hotel and the village very much. We spent a couple of nights at the Villa, we are a retired couple from UK who love little charming hotels where you can experience a familiar atmosphere and this was our choice on BOOKING when we made a reservation last May. Two

Our view to the sea was somewhat obstructed, but the hotel is located right on the main road that leads to the old town area, the beach, and so on. Nice, fresh room with a great balcony, and a small bathroom. Lots of tile in all the rooms--beach themed glass in the tiles.

Great view from the room.
A view from the train station.
No. But honestly good luck! They canceled on us two days before we got there. We are already in Italy and they canceled our reservation without notice. We called them immediately but they had already sold our room to someone else. On trip advisor they gave a lame response to make it look like it was our fault but no other hotels had an issue with our credit card.

Your question was answered previously and I agree, it is definitely withing walking distance from the central main station. I visited in late August and the AC was fine.

Hi, I can't say how warm the water will be in September, as I went in October and there were chilly days. What I can say is that the hotel is no more than a couple of minutes away from the beach. Sorry not to have been more help !!

Hi Gloria, There are some boat tours but from our experience they don't run every day of the week. Try Angelo's Boat Tours, they seemed to be the most popular around.

The train station is extremely close and does run between the 5 villages and Levanto as well. They run frequently and are pretty easy to figure out. They can be really crowded in the summer but should be better by the time you are going. The other person is correct, there are a lot of stairs so take that into consideration when packing and determining your suitcase. You can purchase in advance or as needed. One really important thing is to make sure you always validate your tickets in the machines whenever you use a ticket, otherwise you can get fined. There are wall units in the station that you just insert your ticket. I did not do any hiking but you can walk between the villages. But can't answer the question about the hiking ticket. Hope this helped!
