Monterosso is the best village out of the 5 in Cinque Terre. The regional train from La Spezia is a good way to get their. From Monterosso it's a good idea to take the boat to the other 4 villages to get the beautiful views of the villages and hills from the sea.

Who is Cherry and where was she? I read the reviews about a woman named Cherry and she blew us off. I never saw her. We stayed in a room that was meant for a family of four and it was very uncomfortable. All three beds were in cramped quarters and on the top floor which required you to carry...

Crowded little corner of the world but charming non the less. We've enjoyed an afternoon in Monterosso al Mare and we took a 5 min train ride to neighbouring Vernazza. We drove from Florence 2.5 hours each way but wished we had had a full day to explore a bit more. Maybe staying one night would've been nice. Monterosso was...

The beaches are covered with umbrellas and people and many parts are paid entry. Its hard to find space. There is a football field there, where my 11 year old son and i were able to join friendly locals and play. This remains a holiday highlight for both of us.

My wife and I stayed in the double room for 7 nights and we came away thinking we couldn't have picked a better B&B. Firstly it has a great location, just off the main street in Monterosso old town close to the shops, bars and restaurants and is just a few pleasant minutes stroll from the beach. The room was...

Quaint B and B in little Monterosso town. Conveniently located in the old part of the village. On a quiet street off a main road with shops and restaurants. Cora is incredible and an amazing (over and above) hostess! Friendly, pleasant and very hospitable! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone: Young, old, families... The bed was comfy, room was...

This is a wonderful B&B in a great location, right in the middle of the old town near to restaurants and a few minutes walk from the beach. Our room was large with the comfortable bed on a landing upstairs and living area and bathroom downstairs. It was ridiculously hot while we were there and the air-conditioning had no trouble...

My husband and I recently stayed at Camere Monterosso. It was great! Cherry, the owner, was waiting for us when we arrived. She was very nice and welcoming. Our room was great, right in the middle of old town. Cherry's friend, Cora, who works for her was there in the morning to prepare our breakfast. Most of the items are...

This b&b consists of three loft residences that you come together in the morning for breakfast in the court yard. This allowed us to meet other travelers and share our plans for the day and what places we liked best. It's a cute place. It is a loft and you climb a winding staircase to the bedroom. It was very...

“Not as good as the reviews”

“For persons with mobility issues or young children, the loft, accessed by a narrow spiral staircase, might present safety concerns. The bed is nearly the size of the loft. We thought it was great!! The web page still indicates Visa is accepted for final payment, but we were advised that Visa could not be used. To facilitate an early morning departure the next day, we had suggested completing our payment a day early . This may have caused the confusion. Fortunately, we had a MasterCard debit card and never sought clarification of the Visa matter.”

“The rooms next to the dining area will experience noise from breakfast and from the gate between the dining area and the street. The one room there that I have seen was very nice, though.”
